The food was flavorful, served hot and fresh! They have a lunch menu, which is a huge plus, although prices are acceptable anyway.
Then we went, there was little to no wait and service was pretty quick.
We WILL be back.

Favorite salsa in town. Flavors are spot on. Leans towards traditional. Servers are excellent and the place is very clean. Beautiful tables and chairs. Get a Marg, you won't regret it.

Just had the BEST dinner at Charro tonight! This was our first visit but it won't be the last!! Our server, Jesus, was prompt and friendly - outstanding service all the way through our visit. The ambiance and décor were welcoming and made us feel like we'd stepped into an old-world hacienda. The food, though... sooo delicious!!! We could taste the care that went into the preparation of our meals and it was evident in the presentation of our plates. Don't miss this truly charming gem of a restaurant!

We have been looking for a great Mexican food restaurant in Springfield IL and we have found it. The decor is spot on. We felt like we were back in Texas. The food was great and the margaritas are perfection. Our waiter has a sense of humor and gave us great service. We will definitely be repeat customers.

If I could give higher scores I would. We've been a few times and we've had a fantastic experience each time. The food, service and atmosphere are always great. There have plenty of seating and you never feel crowded.
