The food is simply fantastic. Some of the best seafood dishes at a reasonable price one can find. The service is impeccable. The servers are very friendly & attentive to the customer. This is the 2nd time we've eaten there and one of the reasons when we came up to Springfield from St. Louis on Oct 21st to have dinner there. They also have an extensive Gluten Free menu

The food here was very good. It has a really cool old ambiance. They were extremely busy but it was clear that they are normally this busy. That said the service was sub par. Our server kept disappearing for extended periods of time while we watched other, larger tables get very attentive service. I would still recommend visiting this great restaurant.

Shrimp alfredo
The shrimp were big
The sauce was good however I thought they put way too much on it and it was a little liquidity.
Overall though the taste was good, reasonably priced and a good portion size. The atmosphere was really nice it was nice for a romantic setting or just a quiet dinner. And the service was fabulous we didn't have to ask for anything. I would make reservations though because they are very busy!

Spent a fun Columbus day weekend at Springfield and stopped in for their early bird dinner and it was fantastic! Took them a bit for service but it was great so we didn't mind waiting. Decorations were so cute and at 5:30pm, they were already packed with a long line out the door!

We ordered the oyster appetizers, chicken Monterey, Cod Dejonghe and baked stuffed shrimp and it was all so so delicious. Came with this sweet butter roll that melts in your mouth. One of the best seafood we had in a while. Expect long wait but oh so worth it! Yum!

This was our first time at this restaurant. We were a little worried about the dress code being business casual but no one is checking. The food was great. We were actually surprised about the amount of food we got for the price. From where we are from our meals would have been at least 50% more expensive. I ordered grilled cod which was delicious and my husband truly enjoyed the crab stuffed mushrooms appetizer. My entree came with salad, hush puppies, and bread. The waiter was nice and checked on us several times in spite of the fact that the restaurant was very busy. The place is nice -a little old-with plenty of parking lots. We called to ask if reservations were needed but for the day and time of our visit - Sunday 330 pm-it was not. Something they don't have is a selection of salads which is what my husband wanted. He ended up eating my salad.

It's always nice to have a short get away. We rather enjoyed ourselves the first visit and decided to return for another anniversary celebration.
