When I went to pick up my order they I had to ask for a fork, spoon, and soy sauce. Imagine how mad I would have been if I got on the road and realized I had none of these items. She literally had an attitude because I wanted a spoon for my egg drop soup!

We were very impressed! The service was very fast and friendly. The food was excellent. My husband had Happy Family and I had the Orange Chicken, both were delicious. We also shared an order of dumpling, which we call potstickers, and they were tasty as well!

Visiting in Springfield and read all of the reviews, seemed decent so I thought we’d try it. The only good thing was the cream cheese crab Rangoon. General Tsos chicken was awful and over cooked and the lo mein was dry. 10/10 DON’T recommend.

Although the staff was at first a little slow, they more than made up for their tardiness. The food was quite good, as well as the desserts- all reasonably priced!
Parking: Located in the Schnucks Shopping Center, there is always plenty of parking!
We stumbled on China Star on our way out of Springfield. Don't let its humble strip-mall appearance deceive you. This food is delicious! Light and crispy batter, not overly greasy, and full of flavor. We would return!

First time I have been disappointed in China Star. I ordered Beef with broccoli and it had NO sauce whatsoever! It could be because while watching them cooking, Every single one down the line were on their cell phones while cooking. Barely paying attention to what was being done. The egg rolls were great as usual but again no gravy/juice at all. I order this all the time and this is so not like what I usually get. Highly disappointed! ?

I've always loved China star since I was a child. I'm 36 yrs now and they are still my favorite place to go for good food. Garlic chicken is good. Chicken lo mein broc chicken orange chicken general tso egg rolls all are very good
