Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant- Springfield

We ate outside on the patio at the Cooper's Hawk in Springfield Illinois. Patrick was our waiter. We had excellent service. He was friendly. Our food came out hot and he checked on us many times our entire experience was absolutely wonderful.

As wine club members we received 2 free bottles of wine at our table with lunch. It was amazing! Our server was outstanding. Great dining!

Great restaurant!!! My wife and I enjoy the food and atmosphere we are wine club members and enjoy the great wine and cocktails.

We look forward to going to Coopers each time we plan a lunch, dinner, special event, or tasting. We spent the afternoon preparing for the evening, including going to the website and perusing the food and wine menus. Also looking ahead at the special dinners, we later talked to our friends at dinner, planning the next outing. We arrived early and had a tasting prior to dinner. Our server "Sam" was great. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our server "Jessie" was equally wonderful. The food was amazing, the wine was perfectly paired, and we were left with another memorable evening. Thank you COOPER'S HAWK! SPRINGFIELD IS BLESSED TO HAVE YOU... PLEASE NEVER LEAVE!

It was another great anniversary celebration for my wife & I at Cooper's Hawk Springfield IL - this year for our 28th! The pace of the meal was perfect and the food was fantastic! Our waiter brought the wine decanter right away and filled it with the Cooper's Hawk Vinho Tinto, which was outstanding. As usual, the brussels sprouts were amazing - our favorite. My wife and I both had the surf and turf, which is our favorite. The food was impeccable. We were intending to get the strawberry popover dessert, but we were just too full at the end. I got a dark chocolate truffle to take home for later - we love those. Thank you for a great dinner for our anniversary! We will be back soon!

The food is absolutely wonderful at this restaurant. There hasn't been anything we have tried that we didn't like. You must be patient to be seated. The lighting in the restaurant could be better.

Truly a gem. My wife and I have been here a few times, and the food is excellent, staff are friendly, decor is very attractive.

Delayed seating as well as a long wait to even be approached by a server. Had to get hostess to help

They had extensive options for someone with a gluten allergy. They even made fresh gluten free bread for me; my food was outstanding and our waitress was excellent;

The meal came out about 2 minutes after our salads were placed on our table. The server took the meals back until we were ready. My steak was now only ok, and for $48, I expect better; my wife's salmon was ok. Additionally, service was only ok, perhaps the server had too many tables, not what I would expect from any establishment with higher-end pricing.

The food is fantastic, the wine is fantastic, our server was not fantastic. She did not refill our drinks. She did not even offer to bring more wine to the table. She did not offer to refill the water at the table. The people who are drinking soda at the table had to ask for soda refills we had to ask for bread to be brought to the table, and when we asked for it, it was like it was inconvenient for her to bring it. She was passive aggressive about it. We were also there celebrating a birthday. They did not offer any kind of special dessert for the birthday. They knew we were there for her birthday. I had it on the reservation. It was a 50th birthday. We paid for both desserts. They did not even sing happy birthday for as much as we paid for the food and although it was great and I've been there many times and the food has been great. The service has really gone downhill.

Food good. Expensive, but where isn't nowadays. Second time trying to get their delicious Brussel Sprout appetizer. First time, came out when we were almost done eating. Second time. ordered it, never came. Also $5+ for iced tea>, its't unlimited though!. Their new Sunday Brunch menu is a nice selection, and decent prices.

Delicious dining options for our entire party. We enjoyed the crunchy Calabrian cauliflower appetizer. The wine options are always delicious.

The restaurant is very popular on Friday night and it was very noisy. Our waiter was outstanding - he was busy but continued to communicate and let us know when he would be available. Food was good. The tables were very close together so it was sort of difficult to move around. We'll go back to Cooper's Hawk when it isn't the weekend.

Awesome dining last night. First time there as I was visiting on a work trip. Awesome menu with lots of wine choices, fantastic service by Bianca, relaxing ambiance and DELICIOUS food. I had the Chicken risotto dish and it was fabulous.
