Friendly, authentic family dinner. Food is what you expect to get in a dinner. Prices are decent.

Absolutely a horrible experience this morning at DJs. Usually we have a decent meal, but it seems recently we have had worse service and food, and the place seems to get dirtier and dirtier.

As soon as we were sat, a woman who states she wasnt even supposed to be there for the day let us know how horrible her day has been and that she isn't thinking straight. It was busy, and we used to be servers too so we understand the stress, but every time she came back to the table, it was another spewing of negativity.

Our table looked like an old fold out table you bring to a barbecue, full of stains and bubbles.

We were given HUGE cups of coffee that were SO hot we had to dump half of our ice from our waters to get it to a decent temperature. We have 3 young kids with us and thank God they didn't get burned.

My chicken on my chicken and waffle was undercooked and my daughters French toast was the thinnest, dryest pieces of bread. My husband's hashbrowns were saugy and raw. It seemed they were trying to get food out as fast as possible without worrying about properly cooking it.

I complained to the waitress who told me she would get a manager but a manager never came. She took my chicken off the order, and we got out of there.

I'm sad because this used to be a regular spot for us. We won't be returning.

Just what you would expect from a homegrown, home spun, Ma and Pop, old school café. There is the typical bar to sit at or plenty of four sided or round tables. Your coffee mug may be chipped, but the food is great and the ambience is classic.

Only been on the busiest day for D&J Cafe and after my 3rd time. Five stars, I believe new management.

We were seated quickly and ordered quickly. The waitresses were efficient and got us our drinks quickly. The kitchen was a bit slow and the food was mediocre.I got eggs/corned beef hash and it was not anything special. The corned beef hash was a bit saltier than I'm used to and the portion size smaller. My husband got the pancakes with blueberries, the middle of his pancakes were not fully cooked, but there were a good amount of blueberries in it.Also, they do take credit cards now.
