Always a staple to visit on my trips to Springfield. I discovered this Sicilian gem over a year ago and am always welcomed back like a member of the family. 2 weeks ago Pete hosted myself and 28 of my closest friends with a private dinner party. It was not only delicious, but made us all feel like one big happy family. If you live close or are visiting the land of Lincoln be sure to stop in and try one of Pete’s dishes… and get some of his hometown wine! You will not be disappointed! Tell him his NY friend sent you!!!

Not impressed for the price. The lasagna that I had was okay, but I ordered the sausage and it looked like they took a brat from the fridge, cooked it ,cut into five pieces and just put it on top.
Waitress seemed annoyed by us from beginning to end I could see on her face that she was rushing to get the other people and get us done as fast as possible. She didn't come back to the table very often.
The most disgusting part though was flies or gnats or what have you. I was worried they were going to get in my wine. They were landing on my glass. I smashed at least five or six while I was there.
I've seen bathrooms in public parks that were cleaner.
I mentioned the bugs to the waitress and she didn't seem surprised.
The salad and the house dressing was absolutely delicious. A little plain but very yummy. And my wife really enjoyed her food.
All in all there's much better places I can eat with a much better overall ambience, for the same amount of money.

I love Italian food and as a frequent traveler i have to say this was the best Italian food I have ever had. From the amazing salads to the incredible pastas and chicken dishes everyone was over the mood with their food. Meeting the owner who loves preparing food to the hostess who doubled as a bartender EVERY aspect of this restaurant was incredible. We can’t wait to come back.

So there are no reviews of Di Piero’s written since 2020. Really? Folks, this is a good restaurant — please stop in and support our local eateries! The atmosphere is classic Italian, with Sinatra on the walls and through the speakers. Service was right on, and the food was excellent. Our party of 5 had a variety of dishes, and all were quite yummy with generous portions. These included the house salad, calamari appetizers, pastas from the build-your-own menu, and entrees from the regular menu. We plan to put Di Piero’s on our restaurant rotation — you should, too!

We had a wonderful time at Di Piero's tonight! We were warmly welcomed and treated like family. We ordered 3 dishes to share: lasagne, manicotti and spaghetti with bolognese and meatballs all Sicilian family recipes and were delicious ? Pete was funny, kind and Anna Marie made sure we had everything we needed and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

We ordered 3 dishes to share: lasagne, manicotti and spaghetti with bolognese and meatballs all Sicilian family recipes and were delicious 😋 Pete was funny, kind and Anna Marie made sure we had everything we needed and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!
