Fresh, tasty genuine Italian food in a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend. Call ahead for hours as this is a two.couple operation not a chain restaurant.

So there are no reviews of Di Piero’s written since 2020. Really? Folks, this is a good restaurant — please stop in and support our local eateries! The atmosphere is classic Italian, with Sinatra on the walls and through the speakers. Service was right on, and the food was excellent. Our party of 5 had a variety of dishes, and all were quite yummy with generous portions. These included the house salad, calamari appetizers, pastas from the build-your-own menu, and entrees from the regular menu. We plan to put Di Piero’s on our restaurant rotation — you should, too!

We had a wonderful time at Di Piero's tonight! We were warmly welcomed and treated like family. We ordered 3 dishes to share: lasagne, manicotti and spaghetti with bolognese and meatballs all Sicilian family recipes and were delicious ? Pete was funny, kind and Anna Marie made sure we had everything we needed and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

We were in town to see the Lincoln home, tomb, etc. Found this place on Yelp and it is great. Wonderful food and super service!

I would give it a zero if possible. Walked in and was so exited. Everyone speaking Italian all family. There it ended. Food was inedible by any standards and took over an hour. New food purveyor needed. Will never again

Our anniversary dinner here started out well. Wine was good, and salads tasty and unique. After that ... about 20 minutes into our wait for entrees, I asked the server when we might expect them. She couldn't confirm. Twenty or so minutes later, I inquired with her again about the fate of our food. The owner appeared, to explain that he and his nephew were alone in the kitchen, and he had a big table in the back being served. OK, thanks (I guess) for being honest about our place in the priority line. You know what he DIDN"T offer? An apology. Empathy. A "Hey, let me comp you dessert in appreciation of your patience." Nothing. Nada. Ironic thing is, when our entrees finally arrived, they were very good. So maybe the closing questions are: Does your time deserve respect ... and how much are you willing to invest?

Great dinner, drinks, and ambiance. The owner/chef is very friendly. The house red wine was great. Highly recommend!

Honestly reading the reviews I was excited to eat here, I'm here traveling and I eat at high end locally owned restaurants often. This was the worst dining experience I've ever had.. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but we sat for 20 minutes before our drink order was even taken, while listening to the customer next to us complaining about the wait too. The staff treated the other table really badly even thought the customers were being so polite. After an hour and forty min wait they finally brought out the first dish of the three.. but then it was another 15 minutes before they brought out the second and another 10 for the last dish.. all the while we had to sit there waiting for everyone to be served. All this would have been disappointing but I probably would have just let it be. The only reason I'm on here writing this is because of what happened next. The owner came out of the kitchen and sat at the bar a couple feet from our table and proceeded to disrespect and badmouth the other customers because they complained. So much so and so angrily that we were literally worried if we complained or asked for a discount or anything it could result in a physical altercation with the owner. I've never experienced anything like this in years of high end local fine dining.
