It’s difficult to be disappointed with this establishment as I don’t think I’ve ever had anything I didn’t like! We often do girl’s night here and the drinks are just as good as the food!

We arrived at 1:45 on a Sunday, unaware that they closed at 2:00. The staff never said anything. They were very friendly. The service was excellent and the food was fresh, delicious and fast! We will definitely be back!

I'd rather not go into details at this time, but... Once upon a time, this restaurant was my #1 favorite spot. I was served "slop." The refried beans looked like and had the consistency of a soupy ? on half the plate. Our server watched us from the booth (I included a photo of this "booth") in the corner and offered no refill on drinks. The atmosphere was off. From what I could tell when the pizza arrived, everyone (employees) disappeared to the back. This is the Mexican restaurant in the strip mall where Lake Point Grille used to be.

The Chips and Salsa were the worst I have had at a Mexican restaurant. The Chips were overly thick and greasy. Our Entrees tasted good but for the prices the portions were small. I think it was the first time I have walked out of a Mexican restaurant still hungry.

El Dorado is great and I hope it continues to get more popular. Very tasty flavorful food. They have lunch specials on saturdays. We have been here for Sunday brunch twice now and the food is great, recommend the breakfast machete or the huevos Mexicana. Their lunch and brunch plates are about 8 dollars, prices are unbeatable. They also have cheap brunch drinks such as (strong!) Tequila sunrise for $3.50. The staff is very friendly and service is fast. They have a nice outdoor seating section. They also have a small play area for young ones that had magna tiles if your kiddo finishes eating first. Really great and highly recommend. They also have a nice ice cream place next door that is worth checking out la paleticaz. Enjoy!

Chips are homemade with homemade salsa. The tomatillo salsa was our favorite. The tamarind water was also homemade and wonderful. I had a large Gordita for only $6.75! My husband thought his tortilla was maíz ? but it was flour mixture and they happily got him 3 carnita tacos instead.

The fish tacos are excellent. The atmosphere is good, but like most places it can be a little loud and sounds echo due to the hard floors. I'd recommend it. I recently learned they have a breakfast menu.
The last 3 times we've had dinner there, I have become extremely ill. The food is barely mediocre compared to when it first opened. The best part about our recent visit was the sever. She was very nice and professional. It was a beautiful night so we dined outside. Upon letting her know of our disappointment, she took several notes. I can assure you we will never be back for any reason and we will certainly let others know.
