Had the black bean burger with buttered squash side and my wife had the smoked salmon flatbread. Both were outstanding. And the hazy ipa and service were top notch. Will stop by the next time we are in the area.

My girlfriend and I were in Springfield for a weekend getaway. We love breweries so decided to give Engrained a try based on the recommendation of a friend who lives in town.

We came in to eat around 5:30 pm. Even though our reservation was at 6, the place wasn’t at all busy and we were seated early.

We waited at the table for 10 minutes before a young man stopped and asked if we had been helped yet. We said we hadn’t and the server said we weren’t in his section but he would help us.

We both ordered the honey chicken stir fry bowl
And it was wonderful. Great flavors and a nice amount.

The beer was good too.

The atmosphere was great. Quiet enough to talk and a little dark. Just the way we like it.

I was having a really rough day and had just gotten really scary news about my best friend’s newborn. Molly was the bartender. I couldn’t hide my tears. She let me talk about her and show her pictures and even promised to send her healing prayers and vibes. Molly and her Pegasus tattoo got me through a really trying time and I’m so grateful. My best friend’s baby is healing beautifully by the way. Also… try the potato cakes!

While visiting Springfield, we stumbled across this restaurant on or first night in town, and we're mightily impressed. They have so many delicious sounding choices on the menu! The first night I had a Comfort Bowl - an excellent choice! Super tender shredded pork, corn, cheese & BBQ sauce over spicy griddled potatoes - satisfying and oh so yummy 😋 My companion raved about the burger & fries. With such a great first visit, we went back a couple of nights later for the ribeye steak and the Pork Feature (tender, deliciously spiced ground pork medallions served over a generous portion of creamy macaroni & cheese). We're leaving tomorrow, but when we come back to Springfield you can bet we'll be back to Engrained!

Great beer and seasonal cocktail selection. We only had a couple of appetizers - loaded potato cakes and chicken wings. Very unique flavors and large portions! Plenty of parking. We went at lunch time and wasn’t too busy, but we heard from fellow travelers it was crazy busy when they tried to go on a Wednesday evening so might need to plan ahead.

Great spot with plenty of options. I enjoyed a seasonal cranberry lager and sampled a few others. Staff had ample recommendations.

Brody’s section was lit !! Had the horseshoe and my partner had the flatbread. Both were amazing. Always great when I come , but brody went above and beyond to meet our needs. Plus no wait even though they were busy. 10/10

Food was wonderful with good service. One item was not quite done enough but it was fixed quickly with no issues. Small discount given for the cooking error. Would recommend if in the area!

Waitress gave us menus outside, waited 15 minutes, went inside to ask if our order could be placed and was told a waiter would be sent outside, waited another 15 minutes with no service. Left after wasting 30 minutes sitting outside when there was only 10 cars parked out front, no dinner rush to even justify the wait

We didn't even get to try this place. It took quite a while to get seated and then we've been here half an hour and haven't been helped at all, even after going up and saying we were ready to place an order. After being here half an hour with nothing, we're leaving. They were not at all busy with very few people there.

Delicious Rueben sandwich and broccoli- cauliflower side dish. Fish sandwich and seasoned fries were also yummy.
Variety of beers also very tasty. Would recommend going there for eats and beverages.
