I bet this place loses alot of business, with just the looks of the outside. Inside is a little better. Food is ok.

We actually didn't even eat there as we couldn't get anybody to answer the phone to see if we needed a reservation on Saturday night and when I called the number that's listed some strange name came up on caller id. It never said Fritz's wagon wheel. I'm not sure if the place is even open.
The food was delicious
Parking: It was good
Great food and excellent service
Tammy was a great waitress. Lovely decor inside. Great hidden gem.

THEY MAY BE OPEN THREE DAYS A WEEK, BUT THE FOOD AND SERVICE KEEPS BRINGING ME BACK!
Food had to be sent back twice. Our server basically ignored us and the atmosphere was loud and crowded, very uncomfortable experience. And one of the staff kept exchanging words with my cousin, who was the paying

Server left us a long time before even bringing water or bread, The steaks were bloody and we asked for well done. They had to be sent back twice until we were like "that's enough". When we complained, we were met with an attitude and the statement "We've served many steaks today and no one else complained! I myself had the grilled salmon and it was salty, I've got high blood pressure. I was very disappointed since I'm visiting Springfield and was looking for a good meal
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant was tightly packed and I couldn't maneuver my walker through the restaurant, it had to be folded and I had to hold on to other customers chairs. Very bad experience for my first time there as I'm visiting Springfield

I had a ribeye steak and load potatoe , French onion soup , lemon drop drink was excellent but rolls was burnt our waiter barely came over the lady that night last Saturday night
We hadn’t been back to Fritz’s in awhile after they seemed to have a couple mediocre nights. Finally gave them another shot recently for the old reliable Channel Cat and it was great, like the old days. We discovered a couple other ideas on the menu as well, and came back again for a steak and it was very, very good. This is one of the best restaurants in Springfield, no questions asked, and those type places are drying up quickly. Very nice service, low key in there. We will be back to try the chicken and walleye.

I worked at fritzes many years ago and I was pleased to find that Joe Bart and Paula Pickle have kept fritzes running like it did under Nancy Havrilka. Whenever my guy and I eat there I get the feeling of going home. the food is great and the service is too. I look forward to going to fritzes whenever I can. in fact we are going there for dinner tonight.
Steak had a lot of gristle but cooked perfect. Waited 20 minutes for drink refill.
