I got a lotus from their Halloween menu which was good but my wife's coffee tasted burnt so its possible they just need to clean their machines.

Went in there. They were out of sipable lids. Lady who took order was rude about it. Kept giving my husband dirty looks. Not impressed with the service.

It was our first time and I doubt I will ever be back. My son ordered orange juice and it wasn’t noted anywhere that it’s Adam and Eve juice blend. My $12 açaí bowl was topped in canned fruit which was very disappointing. They forgot to even ring up my daughter’s food but did tack on almost $4 of upcharges we weren’t aware of until after the fact. We’ve gone out to eat as a family of 4 for less than we spent on 2 drinks and 3 food items at Hae’s.

This was my first time here. My boo berry lotus was really good. The customer service was lacking but other than that its a nice little shop.

It is hit or miss. I often like what I get- but on more occasions than not- I get something that was not what I ordered. Today I ordered a 20oz pina colada lotus but got a 16oz pink something. It was good- but not what I ordered and often the wait is so long- I don't have time to wait longer to have it corrected to get the thing I actually ordered.

We reeeeally wanted to like this place, but it’s very awkward waiting area with limited seating, and our lattes were barely even luke-warm. Sadly, a very underwhelming experience and we likely won’t be back.

Amazing drinks - a taste of the PNW in the Midwest. What a gem! We stop here every time we are in town.

There are two older ladies that work there that are excellent but have not seen them in some time. All the young staff is rude, don’t make eye contact, don’t smile and act like you’re a burden for coming in. The Jefferson location is amazing, wabash not so much. Also the online ordering needs updating. It’s 2025 they shouldn’t have to refund you what you already paid and recharge your card, that seems like a scam to me. When I voiced concern to the worker she did not care. Also my online order wasn’t even ready when I got there and they told me they don’t start making it until we get there so what’s the point of an online order. Needs some updates!

Was traveling through the Wabash, Illinois area and decided to stop for brunch. I checked google for reviews. They had a four star rating. Upon getting to the drive up window, there was a sign that stated if your order is not correct it must be returned, same day or no refunds. I now know why. Took the first bite of a breakfast burrito. The inside was uncooked. Because I am traveling, I could not go back to the restaurant, so I called. I was then informed that the burritos are frozen burritos, that they heat in a microwave. I made the wrong assumption in thinking that because it was a bakery and coffee shop, the food would be made from scratch. Needless to say, I was very disappointed!

This review is specific to the Wabash location. I struggle, but I keep trying. I have been there 4 times in the last 3 months. Three of which the drinks where either made wrong or missing ingredients. Even today, I got the featured latte and it didn't look as pictured. It was missing the sprinkles on top and this was featured for the week. In the past, I have had beverages missing cold foam and different add ins. Based on other reviews, this doesn't seem new.
In addition, the staff seems disinterested. Upon one visit, I watched my drink sit in the window, while the young girls that were supposed to be working chatted and talked amongst themselves. They finally acknowledged me so I could get my iced drink (that was sitting in the sunlight) and pay.
I want to support local. I keep trying. But I think the issue lies in the customer service and the staff's attention to detail. The young ladies working do not seem interested and I feel it is reflective in customer service and quality. I certainly wish the organization luck. I just think this location needs a bit more support.
8/12/2025 --- Update
So I stopped in to try again. Unfortunate mistake. There was already a line of about 3/4 cars when I joined. I waited 5 minutes without any movement at 7:00 AM (shouldn't be too busy). I left the line along with several others. Drove past the window and AGAIN 3 teenagers talking to each other and on phones.
I'm sorry, but customers will not continue to be ignored by people who don't care. If you aren't interested in this location, don't have it. I'm sure the overhead is not cheap. Focus on the other locations that you can better support.

Service is terrible. All the workers just standing around chit chatting. Had to wait a while to be waited on inside then they make order wrong. How about less talk and more work. Staff needs to be managed better.

Friend and I decided to stop at Hae’s since we’ve both never tried it. I spent $20 on a drink and an Açaí bowl and it was the only thing I had that day. I don’t know how they managed this with only a drink and a bowl of fruit but I got horrible food poisoning from what I consumed. Very disappointing.

First time visiting, we got 2 blended coffees and a cookie cake slice, wasn't bad. Different coffee to try.
