This is one of me and my roommates favorite Sushi places, however, the first time we came together I'm positive we got overcharged. The owner noticed and offered us a free roll to make up for it and the second time we got everything we wanted but they didn't stick together - think the owner was just busy - but it was still delicious. We also got a free order of Egg rolls. Definitely coming back though, their Summer roll is delicious.

I don't go to Springfield often, but when I do, Happy Sushi is a must stop for me. The place is small, mostly take out, but there are 4 tables to eat inside. What they lack in size they make up for in hospitality. The owner and staff give everyone a warm friendly greeting. Service is prompt. Food is fresh, beautify presented on the plate, and delicious. I love it here.

The food is excellent! Best sushi in town. Great flavor and presentation. The restaurant is small and decoration is minimal. The server was not very friendly or helpful. If good sushi is what you want this is the restaurant to go to. Not fancy in appearance but the good will make up for it. I noticed a lot of people order their food to go.

If I could, I would give this more stars. My sister and I went today, and the staff were some of the friendliest I've ever met. I felt like I was back in my grandma's house with how friendly and homey I felt. Too bad I live an hour and a half away, otherwise I'd be visiting much more!!

We accidentally came across this place after about to check out a restaurant nearby. So glad we stopped by here instead on our way up north! Authentic Sushi, very friendly servers, generous portion.
Owner is the Happy Sushi Chef himself and generously gave us two hand rolls after knowing we’re just a passerby!
Best sushi in town! We ordered the salmon mania and spicy tuna hand rolls. The fish is fresh and the sauce tastes amazing!! Highly recommend!

I love how when you enter, you’re greeted like they know you and with a big smile. The miso soup and egg rolls were so tasty. The shrimp fried rice was delicious. The Hawaiian roll was my favorite and the other rolls were great also, but I can’t remember the name.
It’s a great little spot and I highly recommend it, it’s by FAR the best sushi in town.

This man was so happy to see me when I walked it, it truly warmed my heart. I see why they call it happy sushi. I ordered the anger management roll, egg roll and potstickers everything was delicious. While I waited in the dinning area for my takeout he made me a sushi cone! I will definitely be back ❤️
