This is, by far, one of the best sub shops I've ever eaten at. The sandwiches are excellent, full of meat and cheese on a sweet soft bread that melts in your mouth. I usually alter the way items are served, but took a chance here, only to discover, they know what they're doing and it's awesome! We ordered the Ruben, Italian and Pizza subs, just as they come, and everyone left full and happy! Be sure to stop here, even if just passing through, it was a great stop for lunch.
Parking: Plenty of parking spaces in a large lot, shared with other businesses in the plaza.

If I could give a 0 Star review I would. The owner and/or GM should feel ashamed. We ordered full sized subs and received 1/2 sized subs. Upon checking our receipt, it did show full sized subs. When my wife called to get this corrected, the guy on the phone “checked all the delivery orders” and said we didn’t order from there. He was very unprofessional. Then he started getting short with her and basically hung up on her. Not very courteous at all! Maybe that’s how you treat the college students that come in there that way, but to treat a hard working family this way that just wanted a night to eat out at a locally owned restaurant is ridiculous. Especially when food costs are high right now. We are definitely going to tell all of our friends and acquaintances about this experience and put your poor service and unprofessionalism on social media blast. I guess next time, we’ll take our business to Jimmy John’s or even better, Monty’s.

This was the 2nd time that I stopped for lunch and it was wonderful! I had the ham sandwich on their sweet bread. The bread makes the sandwich one of the best tasty sandwiches around. I also couldn't resist getting their chocolate chunk cookie, so fresh and really hit the spot. Head West Subs will be my place for lunch and dinner next time I am in Springfield.
After paying for my purchase the cashier walked away leaving me standing there with only part of my order set in front of me. My sandwich was left on a counter next to the prep station. Then I had to ask for a fork and the one that prepared my sandwich come out from the back room and handed me a fork with a look of aggravation. Thank goodness the food was good.

In the course of a week they’ve messed up two orders, which is fine I guess,they fixed it, but the fact you pay and order through their app, and then saying they can’t refund something they can’t even provide? That’s a joke.
Looking for a spot to get food on our roadtrip, and noticed that there were vegetarian options on the menu! We ordered the #6 and The Veggie, and they were delicious!!! The people are friendly and create an atmosphere that is so wonderful I wish I could pack this place up and take it back home <3

Been to a lot of sub shops in my day and nobody does it better. I don’t know why anyone would even consider the Subway nearby when this place is an option. Food prep is always quick and thorough with delicious results. Their vibe inside is pretty neat too, very unique.
