They know their waitress is stealing from their customers, but instead of firing her and turning her in to the authorities, they suspend her for a short amount of time and let her return. Even though this certain person has done it on more than one occasion and has been caught several times. If you don’t want to be robbed while you go to dinner, I suggest you don’t go there. I tried to put this on their Facebook to warn people, and they deleted it within minutes and had me blocked.

Typically would give 5 stars to Home Plate, but on this occasion the service was extremely slow. Food has always been excellent! I recommend trying the corn dip appetizer.

Everything was great but served on a dirty plate. Tasted like BBQ sauce. Cheese sauce is mine but the dark red leftovers were not.
Atmosphere was good but it's hard to be unbiased as my dirty plate was ignored after pointing it out to the server. Guess it's common problem as the server just agreed.
Slow service on patio.

My favorite restaurant in Springfield for casual dining. Nachos, fries pickles, giant pretzel. The sausage crust pizza is really good for low carb and all the regular pizzas are yummy. Best Cobb salad anywhere. Their Nashville Hot Chicken is ? too. Chicken Bacon Melt and some of the best burgers anywhere.
Staff is the best, too. We have never had slow service here, and even on a packed Friday night, we had plenty of drinks and food served in 10-15 min.

I give Home Plate a 10/10 tonight. They had great food and service. They went above and beyond for us. We forgot our leftovers on the table went back a couple minutes after we left hoping they didn’t throw it away yet. They did unfortunately but they replaced it. They didn’t have to but they did. Free of charge as well. Definitely recommend the Summer Salad.

I got nachos and they were worse than cafeteria food on top of being overpriced. The place was packed and I couldn't hear anything in the group I was with. Probably more suited for groups gathering to watch a sports event.

Really has a different menu, but it's all fantastic. Very clean and modern place with tons of TVs The only negative i have wasn't how loud it was inside.

Was greeted with so many happy faces and wonderful people... Jeff, who I assume is the manager was amazing, he talked to our large group about food selections and was super cool when discussing the local favorite. Good we super amazing and prices we fair and reasonable.

Had the Hamburger Horseshoe and it was very good
