This was our first time visiting home plate today. We were a party of two adults and 2 toddlers. The food was very good. The service was outstanding from our server, Jaylen, who was very busy but still made time to chat with us and give recommendations to the manager Daniella, who gave us great beer recommendations and even gave us a free beer when we mentioned we had wanted to sample something but it was in a can. And we were surprised when they offered our little ones free popsicles after their meals. So sweet to see such a kid friendly establishment! We will definitely be back.

Trash owner with no food service training.Picture this: A group of 30ish underpaid private elementary school teachers decides to have their Christmas Party there, spends money (they certainly dont make) for 4 hours, and is waiting on a $100 round of drinks (I know because I bought it), when the owner tells them they need to "keep it down" after seating a table of 5 (with every table on the section open) right next to them. When people in the group were asked to move away from the newly seated table, the request was granted without exception. But "keep it down???" After 30 people are spending hundreds of dollars???It is important to note that the wait staff was prompt and responsive and the food was good. In fact, everything was perfect... until the owner got involved in the process, and showed up guns-a-blazin trying to show that HE was in charge, without a single clue as to the status of the groups already seated. When a business advertises as a "bar and grill" and accepts Christmas party reservations, it's hard to imagine treating such a large party that way... unless you have no clue about the situation whatsoever, artive late, and don't bother to get the recon you obviously need beforehand.Welcome to the new Barrelhead/Amberjack Alehouse. We need that table (they didnt), we have the check (they did, many of them), screw you.It has been related by people in business relationships with this business that the guy is an absolute idiot.Confirmed.As a member of a group that frequents the business more Fridays than not, never again.

If you come here in the winter, prepare to sweat. The heat is cranked so high! The servers portray themselves as being very nice, but don't seem to care if there is an issue. Malea brought us the wrong beer that we ordered. I called her out on it, but instead of apologizing and correcting the issue, she just shrugged it off and walked away. The food is standard greasy bar food, nothing worth noting.

Very disappointing experience. Pretzel was expensive and probably the worst large pretzel we have tried. Pizza was ordered with sautéed onions. It came with regular onions cooked on top. They definitely were not sautéed. Tombstone pizza would have been better. Beer options were good. Would not go again for the food, though.

Our first time here; it was recommended by another hockey mom. The dining room was loud yes but I figured that going in "sports bar and grill". We got a pony shoe and the chili cheese hotdogs. The pony shoe didn't wow me because we have places like Darcy's Pint in town so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I maybe should have gone with a burger or salad. The chili cheese hotdogs my husband said were amazing but messy as hell. The cheese curd appetizer was 10/10! I got a kick out of the black toilet in the bathroom. You usually only see white so the change was just unexpected but fun. Server was attentive and brought me a refill without asking. She was wonderful.

Great place. Had a little trouble finding it but once I got there, it is a nice looking sports bar. Excellent choices on beer and drinks and my food was very good!
