Ordered dinner for the family to go. Big order. I ordered 2 combo sesame chicken meals as part of the big order and got sweet and sour chicken meals instead. Ordered through their website to have each item labeled with our names, that didnt happen either. I can't understand their broken English well enough to let them know they've messed up. I've never had to check the box before leaving before, they've never messed up when we ordered until now. If we go back, we will have to check the box before we leave. There wasn't an atmosphere, no customers or people in sight except the one worker. With as expensive as it is, they can't afford to mess up like that too often. Disappointing and the food was cold, like it sat for atleast 15 minutes before I arrived to pick it up. I arrived early after being told it was ready for pick up by 5:30pm. I got there at 5:25pm. It was ready long before they said it would be, couldn't even find a way to keep it warm.

Ordered General Tso’s from Hunan Express and I’m genuinely confused by what I was served. The meat texture was off, the shape was weird, and I’ve never seen chicken look like that in my life. I’m not saying it wasn’t chicken, but I’m also not saying it wasn’t something else entirely. Just a heads up to others with sensitive stomachs or good instincts.

Excellent. Clean, the owners are friendly and the food is just excellent. Flavorful. Worth every dime and the prices are reasonable. They have gaming. Another lady playing and I won. The machines were going off.
Hunan Express has awesome food. My daughter and I were looking for something quick and easy to grab off the highway near Springfield while getting gas on our way to New Orleans. The gas station attendant recommended Hunan. We were so pleased we stopped back on the way home. We will stop there for a quick bite every time we pass though. Delicious! Their Won Ton Soup is 5 Star hands down.

Not edible. Not even sure the chicken was cooked, put one piece in my mouth and had to spit it out and throw the whole order away, disgusting.
I’m not from this area but if this is “the best Chinese in Springfield” I feel bad for you all.
