Absolute horrendous service. By far the worst bar I've been to in Springfield by a LONG-SHOT. The bartender was a complete ass-hat who took over 20 mins to get my girlfriend and I our first drink. Additionally, my hand was extended to receive my change but it was thrown at me instead. They also claimed that they could not make a Long Island, one of the more basic drinks to make, with no offer of a substitute of a different kind of liquor - disappointing at the least. As someone who works in public service in Springfield I would highly discourage any peers from having any sort of work event here LET ALONE a office happy hour here.

A favorite stop when visiting Springfield. We missed the bloody mary bar this round but you can never go wrong when there's Guinness on tap. Always a pleasant atmosphere and good service.Parking: There's a trick to the parking. Go over the railroad tracks and take a left to park close to the entrance. The spots out front have always been off limits when we've gone

Service was great but didn't love the vibe. It had decent outdoor seating.

My wife and I were in Springfield for a convention and decided to find a local pub after doing the typical touristy stuff. Came across J P Kelly's and felt at home immediately!Great bartenders that know how to pour a proper pint of Guinness and just a lot of fun.Forget the trendy joints and find your way to J P Kelly's! Trust me!

Male bearded bartender was super rude and refused to read IDs. He had some kind of reading problem, but he didn't have to be rude or weird about it. Just go to one of the other nearby bars

This historic room gives more interest and pleasure to the patrons that enter here. And its open on saturday mornings during the Farmers Market downtown right outside it's doors. Try the Bloody Mary Bar.

Definitely a hole in the wall Irish pub. They have done a great job keeping that vibe. Drinks are solid, wasn't let down.
