We loved Kentucky Burn. The whisky and bourbon selection was unbelievable. The bartender was so friendly and fun to talk to. Her service was impeccable. We both had flights and enjoyed them. I had the beginner bourbon flight and my husband had the single barrel. We are novice bourbon drinkers and found 4 that we really enjoyed. Their cocktails are delicious as well. Next time we are in springfield we will definitely go back! Just a cool experience overall!

Easily in the Top 5 bourbon/rye/American whiskey bar in Springfield. Great selection. Super friendly bartender. Clean / uncluttered minimalist atmosphere inside. Campfire and seating out back.

Such a great place with magnificent drinks and staff. Nice option to get food brought over from Main Gate. 👌

Have been here twice now, the visits separated by about 4 months. Everything is fine, EXCEPT the pour sizes when ordering a whiskey neat.
I have the exact same Bourbon Trail glasses at home and have concluded that you are only getting a 3/4 oz pour of alcohol. It seemed off to me, so I did a little research and have found that all sources indicate you should be getting 1.5 oz when ordering a whiskey neat. This is a standard. When you pour half of the amount you should be getting, you feel ripped off.
Despite the fact that they have the best bourbon list in town, I will not be going back unless I've heard they have corrected this.
Bill the owner is down to earth cool guy bartender bj makes great drink place has a awesome selection

Unfortunately had poor service...after ordering a few drinks we sat ignored and empty for over 30 minutes. The bartender didn't even acknowledge us for the same period of time. Had a tab open and had to leave it as such because the bartender was unable to handle the small rush. Tab was charged for the drinks we had as expected...hopefully the server was not tipped automatically as it was not deserved. We understand being busy but you have to check in on your customers who have already been there ordering drinks. I can't say we will return. The whisky is run of the mill and somewhat overpriced for what you receive.

We stopped in on Memorial Day weekend for a few hours. Our bartender Colton was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all the different bourbons. We loved visiting!!

Nice place, the bartender was Friendly, has a very broad selection bourbon, maybe a little light on the very hard stuff to find but overall very good. Pricing on the high end of fair on some of the pours but not crazy. Limited menu which is brought over from the main gate bar across the street, which has a a good reputation. It came fast and was hot.

Wow, an insanely disappointing experience. Went in on a Saturday afternoon, and a handful of folks are just absolutely wasted. Loud, obnoxious, and seems completely at odds with the type of environment this apparent whiskey bar is trying to promote. Great whiskey list, but smallest pours you'll ever see.

I had been with co-workers the Friday before New Year's. My co-workers all had Whiskey, I ordered a Gin and Tonic. I'm pretty sure he gave me water not Tonic, but that's OK. We came the next Friday to celebrate my son's new job and my other son leaving for Germany. The service was mid. The server ignore us, didn't check up on us, and sometimes forgot to charge us. We ordered food and he didn't order one of our entree. So we had to wait for it afterthe rest of my family was serviced. It was so weird. Maybe it was too busy for him. It did get busy, but he needs to be able to handle the crowd. It will be hard for me to recommend to friends.

Nice place and really nice staff. Quiet with a huge selection of bourbon. I had an Old Fashioned and friends had flights. Pours were generous and the Old Fashioned was excellent. The price was incredibly low for Buffalo Trace. I would definitely go back. They didn’t serve food but people had brought in chicken from the Main Gate and it smelled amazing.
