terrible experience all the way around. poor service, low quality food. squished in a booth, lied to, disregarded. it was apparent another guest was not happy about something as well. Hopefully everyone at their table got their food

This is a great restaurant to go to with friends and family who are vegan. There is a regular menu also. Updated from previous review on 2024-10-27

The waitress was very nice and it’s a cool place but the food was awful. I really wanted to love it. Very overpriced as well.

Love this place and the owners. Kind, hard working, creative. The food is great. I like their salsa piquante. You have to ask for it, and it will make you sweat, but so much flavor. You can even buy some to take home. The drinks are generous and the food is flavorful.

Vegetarian options: One of the few places that I have found in Springfield that is not all or nothing on vegetarian menu. They are equal creative with menu selections whether or not they include meat. It's pretty great. Their philosophy seems to be to serve their customers needs.

The waiter looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for a uv blue and Sprite. The waiter barely checked on us. The waiter was not friendly at all. I ordered a steak and it tasted like rubber with no flavor and they had no steak sauce. The rice was hard. The steak smelled like something that died. We had to wait for the cashier to check out, I told her that I didn't care for the steak and she rudely said my dad always told me if you want a good steak then go to a steakhouse. Do not waste your time or money here.

They had a separate vegan and vegetarian menu that included appetizers, entrees, and deserts. I thought the food was excellent.

Several vegan options on vegan menu including dip and dessert! “Beef” tacos were good but kind of plain. Salsa and vegan dip were phenomenal!

We got their smothered vegan burritos and they were MASSIVE, the size of my forearm! They didn't skimp on ingredients at all. The flavor was perfect and the sauce ratio was on point-- we highly recommend La Fiesta!

Excellent fully vegan menu. The food is good - not gourmet - but good. I’d call it home style TexMex. And emphasis on the Tex at least on the vegan menu. This is authentic TexMex NOT authentic Mexican. The service was fine. We were mostly left alone to sit and chat. Much appreciated. Will definitely stop here again any time we are traveling through. They would be welcome in the restaurant scene in St Louis. Just sayin’ ? There’s no decent fully vegan home style TexMex.

Vegetarian options: Full vegan and vegetarian menus. Tacos, Tostadas, Burritos, Cowboy Caviar, Fajitas.

Dietary restrictions: Full vegetarian and vegan menus and well labeled. Separate from regular menu. You may need to ask for it.

La Fiesta really knocks it out of the park with their vegan menu. Tons of options, including dessert (!!!), and everything is dynamite. They are super knowledgeable and have great staff. Wonderful experience all around! They also participated in the 2023 Vegan Chef Challenge. ?
