My family went to Legacy Pointe Eatery today and it was great! Our service was phenomenal and the food was great! I ordered a grilled chicken Ponyshoe (a staple food in Springfield) and it was delicious!
Kid-friendliness: We brought three kids (ages 9, 6, and 4) and it was great! Plenty of space for them.

Had a bacon & tomato pony shoe and my wife had the salmon. We both liked us. My server hooked me up with some better hot sauce. Yeah, I dug it.
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian chili was really solid. I love chili and eat it all the time. I’d high suggest it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Legacy Point Eatery in Springfield, and it was an unforgettable experience! I ordered the Midwest Legacy Burger, which came topped with BBQ sauce spice, white cheddar, bacon, and two crispy onion rings smothered in BBQ sauce. It was nothing short of amazing—truly tasted like a steak burger!
My wife opted for the Legacy Chicken Sandwich, which was equally impressive. It featured homemade pickles and their signature legacy sauce, paired with loaded fries drizzled in a delicious cheese sauce.
Our server, Jeremy, was fantastic—attentive and friendly, making our visit even more enjoyable. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces, and we can't wait to come back for more.

The food, service, and menu are all awesome! My family has several food allergies and we have never, even traveling around the world, found a restaurant as accommodating as Legacy!!

This place is AMAZING! I wasn’t able to take a photo of my food and drinks because they were devoured within the first ten minutes! I’ve never found a restaurant around Springfield that has a fine dining palate at a reasonable price and this is the GEM! 🥰 I had the spicy goat cheese burger and sweet potato tots, and my fiancée had the salmon flatbread and we shared a few old fashioned cocktails and we were so impressed at the fresh ingredients balanced together with each meal and the quality of everything. The old fashioned drinks were made with such high quality at a great price that this place puts Curate (another local Springfield fine dining restaurant) in competition. Keep up the great work and I’m so happy to become a regular here! (Huge shoutout to our waitress for the vibes she created for such a chill and wonderful experience) 🥰🍽️

I was disappointed at the quality of the food for the price. The skewers were purchased already prepared, and could not be changed nor a substitute made vegetable wise. This made me wonder how much of the food there was purchased already made and just heated up. The hamburger was ok - nothing special. Beer selection was not what was expected, and what ended up being ordered was a fairly cheap bottle – they served it in the bottle not with a glass. Dessert toast – a fairly common bar shot was ordered – they were not sure if the bar stocked that kind of liquor (they did find it).
The staff was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was nice. But not worth a 5 star.
Dietary restrictions: Can not make substitutions - the dishes are already prepared and they can not make changes

As soon as you walk in you get that southern vibe until you get to the menu. Wife orders the taco burger
It was dry and over cooked only thing that gave it flavor was the taco sauce on it. I got the western bbq burger. Mine was also dry union rings on it were under cooked . BBQ tasted like Copenhagen longcut lol. The menu too obscure. The wording was cheesy using the words like bbq spice and shreduttce.

They took care of our party of 16 very well. I typically have their pony shoes because they are gluten free, but I tried their flat bread this time. It was delicious!
