This was my first time eating from here n the food wasn't what i expected for a bbq joint. The order taker was nice, the food came fast n it's a nice place inside. I just can't eat here again sorry not sorry!

I’ve tried li’l Willy’s brisket before and it was really good. So this time I try their full slab ribs. However despite how good it looks, the taste is a complete disappointment. It tastes pretty much plain on the inside, I can’t tell if it had proper seasoning or not but the only thing I can taste is the plain meat mix with smoking flavor from the outlet layer, it’s like “bored” to eat. I have to add my extra sauce and salt on the side to dip. The corn bread is good tho and the Mac’ cheese is ok, that’s why it’s not a complete 1/5 ?

The mac& cheese was good. I didn't care for the potato salad, only because I'm very particular about it- to tell the truth I'M BIASED when it comes to potato salad (my mom & wife got me spoiled! Nothing from any restaurant comes close to theirs-for me.) The brisket was tender. Pulled chicken was good. I wish they had turkey tips. This place is one I could go back to.Parking: Located on a corner.

I love burnt ends and when I first came her they were awesome. The next 3 times they were not fresh. They were hard and very dark. The pulled pork my friend ordered was dry and almost un-edible. The meat is not hot and fresh anymore.

If you are in a hurry for a barbecue, that is not expensive, this is a good place, super friendly service. They could get better bread but decent for the price. I will definitely go back for the staff is wonderful

Food was ok, seemed like it was possibly reheated. Some of the ribs were a little dry. Pulled pork, brisket were delicious. Chicken could have been warmer, but flavor was good. Service was quick and friendly.

This place is amazing! Exactly what I was looking for. I had the pulled pork nachos and the pulled chicken Willy shoe with sweet barbecue sauce on both. The meat was delicious and the toppings on these dishes were super good. We will definitely be back!

BBQ was awesome and the spicy BBQ sauce is perfect. Staff was friendly and they were open on a Sunday evening. No BBQ places were open in Hanibal MO so glad we got some on the way back to Indiana. Thanks. We’ll be back if we get through this way again.
My husband picked up dinner on his way home from work. He ordered the willyshoe with brisket, sauce on the side. I ordered the willyshoe with pulled pork, sauce on the side. Both were very good. While I love pulled pork, that brisket was fire. Didn't even use the sauce because the flavor of the meat was so good. Will definitely be back. ???

I can, unfortunately, only rate this restaurant at 3 stars. My pulled pork and potato salad plate lunch was wonderful. However, their was something risqué in the bathroom that caught me off guard. (I do not want to go into more details than that.) I’m not sure if the owners are trying to make a political statement or if the object is supposed to be funny. But, if this restaurant desires to be seen as a “family friendly” business I would suggest moving the object from the bathroom.

Stopped in on a roadtrip home and very happy we did. Excellent ribs, very tender and full flavored. Chicken was very moist and did not disappoint. Homemade Mac n cheese tasty as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a good meal, I’d recommend Lil Willy’s.
