Hi, Greetings to owners of Macās Lounge. This is the daughter of the man that previously owned 13th and Cook. It was my father Leo B Saner who owned āSanerās tavernā and his father before him. I have so many fond memories of my dadās tavern. We lived locally on S. 14th street and his brother and his family lived in the house that was connected and accessible from the tavern. Iām so happy to see that it still exists and I think itās really neat what you have done with it. I live in Washington state but come there to visit friends and family that still live there. was there for a private birthday brunch on a sunday...it's small but cute...there is even an original pay phone booth which u never see anymore (giving my age away, lol)...drinks were nice...food was wonderful (fried chicken wings, waffles, eggs, grits)...had a nice time!

Bartender was great and entertaining in her own space. It wasn't my type of music choice but it's a nice vibe inside. The crowd usually pulls in about midnight.
Food took forever and we paid 40$ wasnāt worth it at all only thing was good was the music and po boy wings Fasureā¼ļøā¼ļøToo ghetto and kidsā¼ļøBartenders was rude af served all men first even danced with them?
