I have ordered several times through DoorDash. The food always arrives HOT. And tastes great. Always what I ask for. My most recent order was a Philly cheesesteak with peppers onions and jalepenos added. I also added the jalepenos queso. I will say a litttle more queso would be good, but still no complaints. I couldn’t finish the whole sandwich, so I had it the next day for lunch and was still sooo good.
I will say I also like the ribeye sandwich. French fries are hit or miss, but I totally think that’s more of a delivery issue and I’m sure they would be better eaten fresh rather than after being bagged and delivered.
For the atmosphere I can say I’ve only been there one time to pick up my food instead of delivery. The cook was very busy and seemed to be working by himself. He was not rude, but very short and rushed. Obviously not a him problem, provably just short staffed.
I will continue to order from here and recommend them.

I ordered off of DoorDash & when I recieved the food I noticed something did not smell right. It smelled like a burnt smell as if the grease must have been old or something. I didn’t eat any of the food from my order and I was refunded by DoorDash after sending them images of the food. The ribeye skewers looked like beef jerky and hard as a rock. The potatoe fries were burnt on the outside and hard/ undercooked on the inside. The Mac n cheese bites were burnt. There was also fries to my surprise in the box and they were soggy and didn’t look very good. After DoorDash refunded me the credits it gave me the option to order again. I figured I would try again and I ordered breaded chicken tenders this time because the reviews seemed good for the chicken. I also ordered green beans, & mashed potatoes and another cookie since I didn’t get it the first time. Upon receiving the food, I smelled the same odd smell again. When I opened the food the chicken looked horrible. I took one bite out of the cookie and it tasted like vegetable oil. The green beans and mashed potatoes had absolutely no flavor. Immediately after placing my second order I wrote to the door dasher to please check my food because my last order was not good. I then get a phone call, I answer it and it’s the COOK at main gate named BROCK. Upon the doordasher asking to see the food first he asks them to talk to me and calls me off of the door dashers phone. He then tells me that he made my last order and that im lying and that he is calling door dash on me and putting me on the “LIST” and then says “im the manager here and I made your last order and that food was perfect sooo…” actually it was trash. I took pictures of all of the food, the phone call, the door dasher saying the cook used her phone but I’m not being given the option to post images for some reason. I’d be happy to send these to the real owner / manager . Moral of the story I wouldn’t have fed that food to my dog and whoever that cook is (BROCK) needs to be fired he’s making this place look very unprofessional.

My husband and I were assaulted inside Main Gate Bar and Grill on 8/18/24. The owner sat at a nearby table while 2 men attacked my husband. One of the men then turned, gripped my throat, and began choking me. The bartenders assisted us and called the police. The men ran off. The owner was very uncooperative with police, claimed she didn't know there was a fight, and somehow had video from every other angle of the facility but no video of the altercation even though it happened directly in front of the bar/register area (appeared as if she deleted it).
My husband and I don't go out much and don't know the reputation of this establishment. We went there to have a couple drinks and a pizza after attending the State Fair. We will never return for any reason. Given the owner's lack of concern in providing and upholding a safe environment, I caution anyone considering spending any time at Main Gate Bar and Grill.

Robin bartender not friendly , but overall cooks and owner great place. Fun times! Been going there 14 years. Robin thinks she tells people how bad you are(me) but she hurts buisness. Had to tell pals meet me elsewhere! Bar loses money! Yes. Shes says this that we all have he said he said but what about next time. Bar people theres good bad. Sometimes say ho home. But when you dont let them cole back the other places in town say ill take your money! But it hurts paks saying whered she gobthey also leave. Bill stuart nice its robin bartendee trying to own opeeate the place.

Mozz sticks that I got weren't all the way done, but I understand that those are hard to cook without them leaking out. The wings were awesome. Very big with lots of sauces while being priced right for a twelve pc. Waiter forgot to tell us that we pay at the bar and forgot to discount the mozz sticks for happy hour.

This is the worse food I’ve ever gotten in my life. This food smells like something died. They didn’t give me everything I ordered, but that’s a good thing because this food smells rotten. I opened it outside because it smells terrible.
