We had a great evening with Mitch, who is also the restaurant's butcher. His dry-aged steaks are featured for the holiday season, and they are fantastic. Our party also enjoyed the ribs, carbonara, and artichoke dip. The salad starters are very generous, and the caesar was particularly delicious. To top it off, my mom loved the bread pudding for dessert, which she stated, "Tastes like it's supposed to." Translation: how she used to make it...perfect.

Absolutely the best double cut porkchop ever..also try the mussels..too bad I don't live by this place..been a food critic for a major newspaper and an Italian food snob..let me say it again: try the porkchop!!

We hadn’t eaten there for years, but returned recently. Since they bill themselves as a steakhouse, I decided to try the filet. They claim to have USDA prime, so I went with that. It’s hard to find USDA prime in Springfield. I’ve had more luck in Chicago, Jackson Hole, and Tampa. I have to say, I was completely underwhelmed with my steak. It was supposed to be 8 ounces, but there is no way that was a half pound of meat. I asked for medium rare, a little on the rare side,...
