Not worth stopping by. Waitress was inattentive (on her phone and so were the other 2 waitresses), pasta dish had way too much sauce (swimming noodles) and pizza was mediocre.

Visited early on a Sunday evening. Seated at a booth in their main dining area. Two waitresses both visited the other six tables without a glance in our direction. One cleared two tables of people that finished eating and left. The other one brought to go boxes and drinks to other tables. Waited patiently for over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. At this point there were only us and one other table. Another couple were seated and they were immediately asked what they would like to drink. Lousy, lousy, lousy service. We walked out without the manager at the cash register even looking up from whatever it was she was pretending to manage. Just a side note, my friend had already taken their insulin anticipating getting food within 20 to 30 minutes. We couldn’t wait for them to get their heads out of where ever they were keeping them.

Debated on posting a review since not only have I been coming to this very place for over 30 years, I’ve grown up living down the street as a child, even worked for the company a short period when I was younger and NEVER have I been so disappointed. As soon as we walked in we weren’t greeted by friendly faces but 3 employees at the bar two of which were sitting. Takes a minute but one gets up to ask how many in the party. We were seated. Almost instantly a server came over asked for drink order. And then took off for a long period of time before even attempting to come back and take the order. Mind you it’s myself and one other person and two other tables total in the restaurant. I order an appetizer and never received before food which in itself took extremely long to get.Server never comes and checks on us and other servers cleaning the floors. I have never seen such crappy service. I do not feel it was just our server but in general a whole environment issue. Rachel was our server but not any of the other staff paid any attention to us either. I hope this helps push the staff back to friendly and acting like they like the job they have. No complaint about the food, the cooks did a great job.

This place used to be much better, but it's still ok. I like the buffet, it's not a bad deal for the price. Man, this place sure could use a facelift. It's stuck in the 70s.

We had the weekday buffet. Our waitress was amazing. There was one gentleman who was working extremely hard to make sure the buffet had warm, fresh food. Our drinks remained full. The staff was friendly and the food was flavorful.

We are big fans of Mario’s on Clearlake, have been for many years. We ordered tonight for pick-up… sooo disappointed. The side salads had NO croutons, minimal tomatoes and cheese, mostly iceberg lettuce and red onion chunks. The baked lasagne meat sauce tasted burnt, little to no cheese baked on top of the lasagne. I asked for extra garlic bread rather than the usual combo of bread and sticks, we got two small slices of garlic bread, no sticks. So disappointing after the cross town drive to pick-up. Won’t be going back any time soon.

This place was probably awesome… 30 years ago. A little run down. Food was warm, but mediocre. Pizza was too wet; meat and cheese ravioli tasted like it was off brand freezer food. Customer service was actually fantastic. Very friendly. Fast service. Not a terrible experience. Spent $60 for 3 people.
