I paid fifty dollars for a Meal for my husband and I. I live thirty minutes away. I got home with part of our meals. I won't be back.

Today... I attempted to order at the drive thru, but was told they wouldn't accept my order and that I needed to order online or come inside. I'm almost 70 years old and prefer not have to use a phone or computer to order food. I decided to stop inside where they took my order.... and when paying shown where to leave a tip before my food was prepared?????? They also had four tip jars. If you can't take my order at the drive thru....I wont be back.

Very disappointed in this establishment. Placed my order then husband gave his order. His food was brought out. 10 minutes later I was still waiting on mine. I looked at the receipt & my order wasn’t on there! So I went back up to the same employee & told her & she said “oh I guess I didn’t enter yours” I have to eat gluten free. I asked if the chicken tortilla soup was GF, nobody could answer. One person said go online & look it up…. ? REALLY??? I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. When it came out it was on bread. I have never gotten one on bread before it’s always came on a bun. They told me it’s always been bread. After they swore to me it was GF I ate it, not the best sandwich though. Looked at my receipt & they charge 1.89 extra for GF bread. So does anyone else think it’s cool to charge extra because you have an allergy & can’t eat wheat? Never going back there…ever. I have never been charged in any other McAlister’s for the GF bread /bun.

This has happened multiple times now, so I am now writing a review. Employees are always arguing or being extremely loud and cursing. A simple soup and potato took 30 minutes just for me to get home and see that they got my order incorrect. Just a very unprofessional environment and bad experience in general. Probably won’t be coming back.

Disappointing experience.
The wait for my food was much longer than expected, and when it finally arrived, it just wasn’t enjoyable. I was really hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately it fell short this time.

I had a disappointing experience here during lunch. The service was poor with a lot of miscommunication around my order, and I ended up waiting far too long even though the place wasn’t busy. When my food finally came, it tasted rushed and lacked quality. I won’t be returning.

Went in Saturday, May 17, to grab a quick tea. I LOVE their tea. There was nothing quick about this visit. I don't mind waiting, but when there's a long line, send another person to take orders! One person taking orders on a Saturday during the lunch hour seems like
customer service isn't a priority.

Order an ice tea at 8:50pm and am sitting in the drive thru speaker on 4/23/25. I don’t hear anyone say anything for 2 minutes. I try swinging around to go inside.. employees turn all the lights off and I see them scurrying around inside.

Now since employees want to close stores 10 mins prior to posted hours I have to contact corporate over a $5.06 tea refund because lazy workers don’t want to work.

When I worked retail at kohls I had to stay 30 minutes AFTER closing hours. At my current job I get off at 4:30pm. I cannot leave early. Stop being lazy McAllisters. Complete inconvenience that I have to go through hoops and bounds to get a $5.06 refund now.

Editing my review with a photo of my order cancellation/refund that was given to me the following morning after getting shafted. Please see the picture.. the store attempted to give some lengthy explanation to cover their own butt and their explanation doesn’t even make sense. They say reason: customer no longer wants order… uhm yes I did.. but you guys decided to close 10 minutes early.

“Guest did not arrive at pickup before 9:44pm when last employee left the store at 9pm”

Their explanation makes 0 sense. Your store hours say they close at 9pm. I put in the mobile order for 1 tea and was in the drive thru window at 8:50pm when you guys decided you didn’t want to work and turned off all the lights. Don’t lie about your explanation. I’m in the midst of contacting corporate over this.

An absolute joke of a place. The management and the staff are ridiculous. Not only did they forget my order so long that my entire party had finished their meal, they gave me attitude when I asked about my meal. They sent it along with a drink that I didn’t order and then looked at me like I was stupid. Do not go here!
