I am very glad the steak bagel is back. Otherwise when did ordering and understanding an order become so complex? I remember when they said bogo for $1 breakfast sandwich and it was just that, meat choice was bacon sausage or ?, "bun was mcmuffin, biscuit or mcgriddle. Now apparently the breakfast sandwich in todays deal is just a meat on a biscuit, mcmuffin or mcgriddle, nothing else, they charge extra for the egg and then extra for the cheese so a less than $5 sandwich is actually around $6 and your $1 sandwich is actually $4. So $10 or so later you get 2 sandwiches.In short just go to Burger King and get croissan'wiches 2 for $5 or 2 for $6 doubles, sausage, bacon or ? and it comes with the egg and the cheese.

We came right after the St. Patricks day parade when we knew it would be busy. Even though they were very obviously understaffed, they did a good job of keeping up. Did I have to wait longer than usual?…yes. Was the food not as good as usual?….yes. We were prepared for that. What made them stand out is that the employees were hustling to keep up. When a customer came up for a missing item, the employees were right there to make it right. The employees were kind and hard working.

Consistently the worst McDonald’s in town. Four people got served in the outside lane before I did on the inside. Happens all the time but you never know which lane will move. The employees generally don’t even speak to you at the windows, they just hand you your card or food. I don’t feel like they train their people, probably because of the big turnover .

I don’t like the drive thru at this McDonald’s. The double drive thru is awful. If your car is the first to pull up, they wait until another car or two pulls up, then they take their orders first. I believe the employees get a kick out of being unfair. When you finally get to the food window, they tell you to pull up and wait longer. Then cars behind you drive away, and you have to wait even longer sometimes because they have to remake your order, which they probably gave away to one of the other cars in front of you. I hate going there but it’s the closest one to my house. I don’t even eat McDonald’s that much but my husband always makes me go get him food from there constantly, which makes it even more frustrating.

Since the McDonald's on 9th and North Grand closed I've been going to this McDonald's on Jefferson St. and their service and just the atmosphere there is far better than 9th St. I would highly recommend this McDonald's faster service, friendlier employees, and cleanliness of the store was way better. I would say a much better experience at this McDonald's than 9th St will definitely visit again.
