This place is finally closing permanently December 30th. Good Riddance. The owners should be charged criminally for gross negligence of public safety. Besides the violent and racist employees, here's a snapshot from the health inspector in May 2023:“Cockroaches and rodent droppings were observed diffusely throughout the facility during the inspection. Cockroaches were both alive and dead and represented all life stages. Operator treated live cockroaches with RAID on site during the inspection. The majority of cockroaches were observed underneath the double upright cooler with doors along the front line but has open, exposed mechanical equipment at the back immediately south of the meat chest freezer. Dead roaches were observed in the dining room and kitchen areas. Mouse droppings were observed on the back ledge behind a dining room sofa, underneath the soda counter in the dining room, in corners throughout the facility, underneath the slushy machine including on the nozzles themselves, and diffusely throughout the rest of the facility. Facility has a large number of harborage conditions which remain problematic. Ensure that the facility is clean to prevent harborage conditions from occurring and ensure that no pests/insects (alive or dead) or their droppings are present. 6-501.111: PREMISE shall be maintained free of insects, rodents, and other pests. If present (A) Routinely inspect shipments of FOOD and supplies (B) Inspect PREMISE routinely (C) Using methods, such as trapping devices Pf (D) Eliminate harborage conditions.”

I’ve visited this location a couple of times now. The first time was not great and they didn’t have the food that I wanted to order. I thought I would give it a second ago and it was the same situation. It would be a 12 minute wait for certain food items and machines are broken. I will not be visiting this location again.

Ordered two meals. After waiting (no exaggeration) 20min in the parking lot, they brought out only the sandwich from one of the orders. We then asked for the rest of the food. They brought the sandwich back to the store and then after another 10min, I went in.Three other customers were standing there as well (we were the only ones in the store other than staff) waiting for their orders to be corrected. The staff refused to provide me a refund and instructed me to wait.When one of the ladies waiting finally got their order, they politely asked for sauce. Who I assume to be the manager THREW the sauce at her.All in all, I spent a total of 45min at the store and witnessed awful behaving and unprofessional staff flounder to do their jobs at even a basic level.Get it together people.

(WICS) —A man was covered in blood outside of the McDonald's on North Grand after he said he was attacked with a baseball bat.Around 8:40 p.m. on Monday, a female in the drive-through noticed a man sitting at the front door covered in blood. She approached the man and he advised he had been attacked with a baseball bat.When officers arrived the victim stated he did not know who the suspect was.The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital with multiple injuries to his arms, face, and head. The staff at the hospital advised the injuries were non-life threatening.The Springfield Police Department will attempt to get video from McDonald's on Tuesday.-------------------------This is the third review I've had to write on this place. I had to delete my other two reviews because I can't have more than one review.I came in here and ordered two double cheeseburgers with mayonnaise and lettuce at 4:30 p.m. the first time they screwed it up they only put mayonnaise and ketchup on my double cheeseburgers. The second time they messed it up they removed a slice of cheese and added lettuce. The third time they messed it up they still forgot my mustard and pickles. Then they gave me my money back. I left a half an hour later never got my food.The only reason why I ever come here is because my disabled uncle lives a block away and sometimes I get hungry but they always mess my food up or they take forever. This time I missed my bus so I have to wait for the next bus. It's a good thing I didn't wait any longer because I wouldn't be able to make it back home because I would have done missed the last bus. This place sucks they need to shut this place down or hire people that actually know how to do their job. They are straight up disrespectful I should have split in those burgers when I handed them back to them.
This place does not really have any healthy food. Their food is very unhealthy, but if you don't mind that factor I would say this is a great place to eat with lots of options for every meal. The food tastes pretty good and is very cheap compared to a lot of other options.Kid-friendliness: It is relatively kid friendly with some having play places and kids food options.

Had a terrible experience today. Went to drive up waited 20 Minutes before anyone would answer outside speaker drive up. Kept asking hello hello. Rude employee finally answered. There was looked like to employees being dropped off while waiting in line. McDonald's North Grand and 9th Springfield,IL. Then when I finally was able to order I drove up first window no one was there so drove to second..next thing I know employee was yelling coming back here to first window. Then she told a customer on Her head set hold on loud disrespectful manner. I had two cars behind me..I got out of my truck at one point amd started to try to call establishment before she answered almost 20 minutes later and waited another 10 to get my food. Asked if had any specials on breakfest sandwiched to witch she replied that same thing we have all the time. I said wow. But got food got hoke and found my Egg Mcmuffins was barely wrapped and sausage was burnt on edges and was Luke warm..Very disappointing for the service and the poor quilty of unprofessionalism I felt like I was treated.
