Was charged 2 times for the same meal....
I didn't think the beets were good as I had before..Patty argued with me that's the way they are suppose to be. REALLY ?? We always enjoyed ur food and service before.

Yesterday was my first time eating here! The manager was very helpful and descriptive. But what got me the most is the food was all made from scratch, when I started eating it brought me back to the days of having family meals on the farm.

First visit to mcl and was pleasantly surprised! Great service and good food . Got the dark fried chicken with two sides and a roll. Had alot of wonderful pies for dessert but tried the choc chip cookie was the best! Lance the manager on site does a wonderful job ! Very clean ?large areas for seating available. Highly recommend !

This is one of my wife's favorite restaurants. So I jokingly say it's old people food. It is popular among the older crowd LOL.
The staff are always nice and helpful, won't get that at those fast food places.
It is good food though a little pricey.wife usually gets the fried chicken Mac& cheese and whatever veggies they have. She likes them every time.
I get either the roast beef or chicken. Mashed potatoes and gravy.
Chicken is always juicy and tasty, surprised a non chicken place does it this good.
Roast beef is juicy and flavorful each time.
Mac& cheese is a little different then other places, think they use more cheddar or something. Always tasty and consistent.
The mashed potatoes and gravy are real good. Can tell the potatoes are not homemade but still really good. The gravey is on point each time.

Scott was amazing floor server to us!! Exceptional service, friendly attitude, and attention to detail. Highly recommend!!!

I should have known it would be super expensive when I didn’t see any prices. It was difficult to follow the menus on the big blackboard. We had three adults and two kids (one child had a slice of Turkey and the other a chicken leg and dessert for each with milk) before tip $98.65! Children refill on milk was almost $3! We were here with family and I told the cashier at least five times that it was all the way down to the gentleman in the blue past the two ladies. I asked if she got everyone and she said she could t see until they got up to register, I could see what was on their tray from where I stood in line! Finally once again I said did that include everyone down to the gentleman in blue, she said yes. Then we went to leave he said she didn’t get the guy! His meal was over $22 for liver and onions with one veggie and one starch drink and dessert. I find that rather $$. We were there for about an hour and she kept coming by after everything was cleared away asking what else we needed…. and it wasn’t until we gave her $30 she left us alone for another half hour. Overall horrible food, super expensive and rude staff that wants you to eat and get going. Being that she didn’t take our order or bring us our food the tip was more than gracious!

Food is excellent, but pricey. Good variety. Servers are around to accommodate any needs.
