There is a man named Marell Thomas Who works there in the afternoon and evenings. He is very nice, very pleasant. Always calls me by first name when I walk in. Great guy and very pleasant experience.
I absolutely love donuts and lately it’s been hit and miss on quality. 3 out of the last 4 times I’ve went the donuts tasted like grease. Kind of like the grease was either old or didn’t get to proper temp before the donuts were dropped into it. The employees at this location are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is great. They just need to figure out why their donuts aren’t consistent which I know is not on this location as the donuts come from one main location.
Mel-O-Cream is the greatest donut around. My favorite is Old Fashion chocolate dipped. I keep them in my freezer. Their milk is awesome. It comes from a small dairy in south/central IL.
