Stopped here driving through illinois and decided to try out these subs. There was a queue but Bob was patient and calm. Was definitely worth the wait ! I had the el Italiano and my wife had the egg salad sandwich. Both well balanced and filling. Would highly recommend !

Hadn't been to a Monty's in a while. We both got the egg salad sub on sweet bread and a drink. Wonderful egg salad - a large sub for not much money. Other places don't have egg salad, and this is rich and creamy. Yum.

The cheese soup is HORRIBLE‼️?It didn’t used to be though… I remember when I was younger the soup used to set it off for me. I asked the store employee about it. He informed me they changed the recipe awhile back.I always get the El Italiano. It’s delicious & hasn’t failed me yet, This has ALWAYS been my #1 favorite sub shop.PS: PLEASE go back to the old cheese soup recipe! ?

Worst Monty's experience ever. Sandwiches were made incorrectly. Bread was burned. Asked for double meat on one. Was charged for double meat. There is NO WAY that sandwich was made with double meat. Sandwiches were made without veggies or spices or dressing of any kind. FOR SURE the sandwiches WERE NOT ordered that way. Hate to point a finger or blatantly call out an employee, but the guy in the green chef's hat needs to learn to keep his mouth shut, put his head down, and put out quality food.
