We used Nelson's for a week long seminar in Springfield. The food was delicious, the staff was exceptionally professional, helpful and friendly...and the pricing was absolutely reasonable. We will use them again. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to have Nelson's cater our wedding in Champaign, IL and they were incredible. Set up was quick and seamless, the bar tender was friendly and efficient, and the food was incredible. The bacon covered dates, chipotle chicken, and pulled pork were hits. And the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches at the end of the reception were life saving. Selecting the package before hand was easy and Wanda was always reachable by email for all the questions we had.

I attended the ACE Coaster Con at Indiana Beach last week, and I just wanted to say that your crew provided the best meals of the week, especially the pork chops, pit-tat-toes, and the white cheddar Mac and cheese! Also, your crew was very professional and so kind, for being a group that consisted mostly of young people! I heard zero complaints from my fellow ACE'ers, which is rare because we eat a lot of catered food! I hope we get the chance to use you guys again!

They delivered on time. Service was top notch and food was excellent. Staff was a blessing to be around.

I have worked hand in hand with Nelsons for many years now, and they are one of the best caterers in the business. I always enjoy the staff when they come to my venue, and you only have to tell them something one time and they are on it. They are at a great price point and the quality is amazing too.

I am with the Decatur Underground Theater in Decatur, Illinois and we use Nelsons as a fundraiser for our Community Theatre group and I have to give a 5 star or even a 10 Star rating to Nelsons for the service and the help that they give us in raising money for our Theater group. Working with our new representative , Cailey Lansing, Made my job a lot easier on my end. The young man that came to Decatur to set At the Decatur Civic Center And to help us run, the fundraiser was excellent also. Kudos to him. Again, a 10 star rating! You won’t regret working with them!!

We worked with Wanda for our wedding, and she made the entire planning process so easy! We had the strolling stations, and it was the best decision ever as there was something for everyone to eat, and we had the ability to have fun foods like mac n cheese bar and pretzel bites with cheese! A few weeks later and we still have guests mentioning how good the food was! The only down side was the few staff members working our reception were not super friendly, but overall I would highly recommend Nelson’s again!

We chose Nelson's as the caterer for our daughter's wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made in the planning process! They worked with us to create the perfect menu which included appetizers and the meal, and were available to answer any questions we had along the way. But, the night of the event, they really showed what a quality company they truly are! The service was flawless and the food was amazing. Their staff were professional, attentive, and helpful. Wanda did such an amazing job keeping the details of our ever-evolving wedding day organized during catering planning. The food was delicious and we have that on good authority from multiple guests! Nelson’s has so many options from the budget-friendly buffet meals to the reasonably priced elegant plated meals. For couples who want a fancy entree, I highly recommend the citrus glazed salmon and the prime rib. And for couples who don’t want cake… Nelson’s ice cream bar was a HUGE hit! Nelson’s took our family’s allergies seriously and there was not a single peanut in sight at that toppings bar. Thanks again to all of your staff for their hard work keeping our loved ones fed. And a shout-out to the bar staff who kept them with drinks in their hands all night long! You guys rock.

We used Nelson’s for an Honor Flight fundraiser and the representative who assisted us did an excellent job in ensuring we had everything we needed and requested. The staff who worked the event ensured we were set up on time and were prompt to meet our every need. The customers always give us feedback on how wonderful the meal is.
