Their website did not reflect that they were closed. This restaurant is located in a hotel. When I called the number for the hotel, the automated menu gives you the option to select Nick and Nino's. I was transferred and it rang 5 times and then received a recorded message that "the mailbox is full". The hotel should remove the option to select Nick and Nino's OR offer an automated message that reflects it is closed.

We were visiting Springfield with our kids and our 5 month old granddaughter. When we arrived the waiter offered us a free mojito because the air conditioner was slow to get going and it was really hot outside. Turned out the air conditioner was not working at all and the baby was over heating so bad the parents had to take her in the lobby to cool off and we had to take our kids food to go. For a $400 dinner it would have been nice if they were honest with us and said they had no air conditioning in the restaurant. Food was delicious and the waiter was pleasant but too hot.

Oh my goodness. What a surprise! We made the reservation not knowing what to expect for our large group of fourteen, but we all went away completely impressed. Our welcome, the service and the atmosphere created the perfect stage for our incredible meal. We were ALL so happy with our meal and plan to go again. What a beautiful dining experience from start to finish!!!

Had dinner here with family a couple of times. I always had filet mignon and the service is outstanding!! Lamp lollipops and lobster bisque are worth a try if it's your first time here. I always recommend you to my clients and friends.

Alright I just don't get the hype. Food is priced at 5 star prices but isn't anything special. I've gotten the New York strip once or twice, and I'm unimpressed. I mean nothing is BAD, and the view at the top of the hotel is pretty cool, especially if you go at sunset, but you're not really going for the food if you know what I mean. It's more about the posh-ness of the penthouse restaurant. It's a nice place for an anniversary or something, but it just feels kinda vanilla, and not something for a young crowd. There are much better and vibrant options for younger folks in Springfield (like Vele) where the cuisine is unique and the atmosphere is hip and sexy.

I know I'm not supposed to want steak sauce on my t-bone, but I always like to come with a backup plan... Worcestershire! I exclaim. Nick comes out quickly "oh, you know you never used this the cap's still on the bottle!" Nino chimes in "Jack try this one--". I know before he shows me... "the one with horse radish!" we say in unison never corked as well... And before you know it, I hear the sizzle zip around the corner with my slab of beef I plan on devouring. A few small cuts here and their tells me the juicy beast was cooked to perfection. A good sized chunk right at mid palette-- oh yes, hot and the juices outshine the seasoning once again... "Put these away!" I cry passing both unopened bottles of sauce to Nick after a hand off to Nino there out of sight and I back to business. My eyes got wide and I opened my greedy lips to a gigantic bite... Oh man juicy beefy delicious. Bravo... (stake fries were nothing to scoff at either) and the crispiest seasoned asparagus moist and with a zesty crunch. I heart Nick and Nino and so will you and your guests!

We had my husband’s 75 th birthday there, thinking the view, food would be the best in Springfield.. we had a party of 19 - not small to me ?!? They did not have nearly enough staff - the first served was finished long before the last one was served. ( so where does that leave the prayer ? ). The food was not even passable in my opinion. We had guests from as far as Texas. It’s done and one turns 75 only once ! Too bad we made the wrong decision.......

This place is hit or miss. First time I went, food was great and worth the price. My second time eating there was on Valentines Day. I made reservations and when we arrived we were promptly seated. At no point from when I made reservations till the time I was seated, was I told they were serving a limited menu! None of the options looked good to my date or myself. When the food arrived, it was awful. My date said " at least it's only 90 bucks", I informed her, that was per person! Desert was very good, but that was the only notable part of the dinner.

Love this place although currently closed. The food is a little pricey but absolutely worth it. Their steaks are amazing and perfectly cooked. The restaurant is small but beautiful, nice view, great ambiance. Our waiter Rick was amazing and his service alone made us want to come back, which we have and will again, soon hopefully. Highly recommend!
