The waiter wasn't very friendly when I let him know the drink i order was flat and watered down the machine didn't get corrected and a new drink of what I ordered brought to me but a drink i didn't want was given to me. My wife and I asked for salad without olives but he gave us salad with olives which I then made him take back and correct. We both ordered create your own pasta which our food was fine but when he asked us if we needed a box for my wives food which she barely ate he brought one tiny box so only half of it fit and our waiter was no where to be found so we had to leave half of her food. This was the worst experience we have ever had.

Major shout out to Olive Garden in Springfield, Illinois. You guys are truly sitting in the bar for excellence with regards to customer service. Thank you so much for the Veterans Day meal that you offer. The flags of all the different branches and the missing man table are all deeply appreciated. Thank you so much for all that you do to honor the service men and women of our country. Our table deeply appreciated the level of service and hospitality in which we received while we dined there.

Olive Garden did a great job we had a party of 11 called ahead and they had a table ready for us. John was our server and he was wonderful. Very pleasant and professional went out of his way to take the best care of us. Thanks for a very pleasant time.

We order out from here regularly, even though we live 40 minutes away and usually have no issues, but this time was a mess. They didn't pack the bag correctly. One bowl of soup was in the bag sideways (thankfully didn't leak), and my wife's large container of 5 cheese marinara dipping sauce had a lid that apparently didn't fit and spilled all over the bag. Since the bowls are all plastic, they survived the spill, but one bag of breadsticks was destroyed.

The only upside to this is that the Olive Garden bag contained the spill somehow and it didn't ruin the interior of my wife's new SUV.

What food survived was very good, per usual, thus the 5-star rating for food. The 1-star rating for service is because of the improperly packed bag and resulting spillage that never should have happened. They pack many, many of these bags per day and should have it down to a science by now. This was unacceptable. No rating for atmosphere since I didn't step inside the restaurant (ordered online and was brought to the car).

Being old (early 60’s) has its advantages and disadvantages. First, I’m glad I’ve made it this far. Second, you need to constantly become accustomed to change. My wife and I went to dinner here because we are traveling and didn’t want to search out somewhere new to eat. Although Olive Garden food can be hit or miss, it’s generally decent and we know what to expect.

However, we were surprised at apparently being victims of a ā€œGen-Z Stare’ishā€ attack. We understand that being fake ā€œfriendlyā€ to 500 people a day is tough. Working can be soul-sucking. That said, if there is ever a job that could be replaced by technology, a robot, or just a map, apparently this is one of them. Maybe we expect too much or maybe it was just a bad day.

First, our ā€œhostessā€ ran to a table and tossed menus on a table. Without any communication they were gone before we pulled out our chairs. The objective was accomplished. We were directed to a table. It would have been more enjoyable if they handed me a little map and a table number and we could have searched out our final destination ourselves. Or maybe one of those robotic devices you see in a store taking inventory could beep its way to our table. It may even be cheaper for Olive Garden. Ot was not a busy night. Yes, the hostess served a function, but that was the extent of the experience.

Next, we interacted with our wait person. They were mostly efficient, ā€œpleasantā€, and rote, but we did have to remind them of dining options that were available that were not asked. Unfortunately, the overall experience was almost painful. We felt that we were being an inconvenience. Perhaps it was even more unpleasant for them. That is unfortunate. I hope not. But their service didn’t warrant an additional 20%. We could have entered our order at a kiosk and had it delivered to the table.

Bottom line - if I’m only eating to keep going, I’ll go to a Subway. If I want more of an experience, I’ll go to a great ā€œnon-chainā€ restaurant. If I’m looking for something in-between, welcoming, and convenient in an unknown location, I’d normally go to an Olive Garden. However, our experience here was disappointing. I hope it’s not something to which we will have to become accustomed.

Had a great experience here! We only waited about 10 minutes on a Friday night, which was a nice surprise. The inside was your typical Olive Garden — warm and welcoming. Our food came out quickly and was above average, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable dinner!

So it’s October 2nd 2025. Whoever is making the food tonight, needs to be spoken with. When I get the tour, best believe when I pay that much, it better be correct. All of it was so over cooked, it was barely edible. This review will drop to a 1 star if it isn’t impeccable the next time I order.

Food was not good. Only had a few bites and they didn’t settle very well.. server Olivia G didn’t say a whole lot, was a little rude. Olive garden is HEAVILY overrated. We were never asked about portion sizes for lunch menu or dinner menu drinks never refilled besides one water never checked on us to see if the food was ok. Just about put her finger in my food trying to serve the plates. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Went here for dinner before homecoming and the food was amazing. The music was great and the restaurant created such a cozy atmosphere. Our server, Callista, was amazing and super kind. 10000/10, will definitely return.

Food was great. Quick service. Carpet had terrible odor. Staff maybe gets use to the odor and doesn't notice. Could use a deep cleaning.
