So I rarely visit the Dirksen location because I live on the west side of town. The one by the mall is always fantastic. But I happened to be working on Dirksen today. Not only did I pay for the food. But I also paid 5 dollars to a coworker to pick it up for me.
Are we for real with this Rangoon???

Paid $1.50 extra for “Premium Honey Walnut Shrimp”. They gave me EXACTLY 7. 7 shrimp, they said they have to count them. Paid extra for a premium side and got 7 shrimp total. Wild. Portions are unacceptable when paying the “Panda Premium”. Wish could give zero stars. Will not be back, too stingy.

Came up to Panda Express on North dirkson.Parkway in Springfield always enjoy eating hair.They've got a new Orange Chicken.That has spicy has some little Thai chili's in it.I highly recommend it.It's not too pifey but just enough if you like a little heat

I had a great experience at this Panda! I believe the lady who helped me was named Liz, she went above and beyond to make sure my order was perfect. She was super friendly, patient, and made some great recommendations on one of their new products. You can tell she really cares about the customers. It’s rare to get service like that these days, and it definitely made my day. The food was excellent!

Visited this location 3/30/25 8:27pm. Store closes at 9:00pm. Dark skinned Asian girl serving the food said, our food options are limited because we close at 9pm. Okay, no biggie I get it. My wife and I got our panda bowls and sat down at 8:35pm. My wife and I finished our bowls and we were opening our fortune cookies at 8:52pm, about to leave the store after that when the same dark skinned Asian girl came up to our table. And I already knew what she was going to say so I just said “ok” then kept eating. She continued to talk and told me and my wife that they close at 9pm and we need to leave or she’s kicking us out. Literally threatening to kick a paying customer out 8 mins before close when 1. You already told us as we were getting our food that you close at 9pm 2. She could clearly see that we were already finished with our bowls and it was obvious we were about to leave.
She could’ve worded it wayyy better than saying “I’m gonna have to kick you guys out”.
Give this location 1 star for rude/terrible employees
A Welcoming atmosphere, Food Service was so prompt. Staff members are very kind. We used for dine in, temperature was little chilly for me but tables are far enough apart, and cleaned.
