Parkway Cafe

Had a terrible experience this morning trying to have a Mothers Day breakfast. They were NOT very busy at all (9:00am) and after waiting for almost 20 minutes and being told 3 times they would be right with us we left. Out party was only 5 people and they seemed like they weren’t capable of taking care of us. My last time to ever go to this Diner again!!! Very very disappointed

Horrible….food was cold…live less than three minutes away so it wasn’t because of the drive home…ordered eggs over easy yolk was all over the crease of the container…the toast was not toasted…it was more like bread and butter… owner was rude…won’t be back…rather eat the fast food breakfast around that area than spend my money at that place

Everything is soooo good and the service is excellent. Our favorite is the breakfast horseshoe with half cheese half gravy!

We try to go to Parkway Cafe at least once a week. The food is always fresh and tastes great. The entire staff is phenomenal. We love it.

I daily dine at Parkway. The food is delicious - service is excellent with the best group of waitress' in Springfield. The atmosphere is relaxing and I enjoy the Oldies playing in the background.

I like going to cafes been to most in my area (Springfield,Illinois ) parkway cafe is by far the best and my all time favorite around here

Parking: They have a small parking lot but I park in aldis on the side of the cafe

Kid-friendliness: I always leave $20tip cause they are so friendly and prompt service

The server took my order, dropped off the food and check and never returned to the table. The food was over cooked and dried out and a refill of the beverage would have been welcomed.

cook doesnt know what crisp hasbrowns are and overcooked the bacon. sorry if it was a bad day for the cook it showed.

Went with a Church group of seniors. There were about 15 people. Everyone liked their food. The service was pretty good considering the amount of people. The staff was very accommodating for our needs. A good time was had by all.
