Very retro and soaked in an ambiance of faded glory.

We went in at 940. They stop serving desserts at 1000. The Bartender was very nice. My children wanted to sit by a window and enjoy the view. At 950 we found the waitress. Mind you the only one for a rather large place. We said we wanted to get desserts and soda to finish the day. We ordered water. She said we could look over the menu and she would be right back. I watched her go to other tables and get others drinks. At 1000 she brings us the water. We went to order and she looked at her watch. Sorry it’s after 1000. I told her you knew we wanted dessert and you said you would take care of us. She just said sorry. Had she been more able to manage her tables and not count her tips she would have got a good tip. So don’t waste your time.

A "special occasion" place for sure. The drinks are expensive but strong. The view is probably the best in town, but there isn't much to look at haha. Plenty of booths, cocktail tables, and spots at the bar.

Very nice place to have an amazing mojito while enjoying the view. The music was not the best, but I think they cater that to the crowd that comes in. The view of Springfield is phenomenal and the lighting was romantic. Try the crab cakes.

We had an after party here recently and it was so much fun. The director worked with me throughout to make sure we had a good experience, and we did! Staff were friendly and made great drinks. Everything was tasty and the prices seemed right. The views are extra great at night while having a cocktail!

My first visit to the Pinnacle. Awesome view, great service and top notch drinks. Our waitress was really nice and made sure our drinks were top shelf. Even though there was a private party going on. We still got great seating. The only negative is that it could use a little updating. Seating was Visibly torn and decor a little outdated. But overall a great time!!

Apart from being initially made to feel s though we weren't welcome by the host it was a great time. He later was very nice. Our waiter was generally very attentive and described dessert well. The food was absolutley delicious and the dessert divine

Very nice lounge on the top floor of the Wyndham hotel downtown. Great staff, nice view, nice classy atmosphere I was disappointed with the badly worn upholstery on many of the seats. I mean worn out like in an old truck stop dinner with out. Otherwise, a great place to enjoy a drink or two

Wow! Really nice location. Your on the 30th floor looking over downtown Springfield and Abe’s home. The drinks were good and service very friendly. Pinnacle Club is only open Friday and Saturday. Check it out!

Went here on a Saturday night, as we wanted drinks at a slightly nicer bar/lounge than we had seen walking around Springfield. The woman at the entrance was very nice and instantly accommodating, as was the server when we sat inside. Both the view and drinks were good and so was the piano music. The interior is nice, and again probably the best in Springfield, but don't expect something like downtown Chicago. It was rather empty when we were there. The lounge offers a panoramic view of Springfield.

Great view and nice bar with a great bartender at 7:30 on a Saturday night before dinner. One thing that needs to be done is replacing or reupholstering the furniture. The worn and torn furniture really takes away from what could be a really good vibe.

Came for desert and was not let down. Great views too.

We thought we would have a pre-dinner drink before going out walking one afternoon, we walked in and waited a second for some sort of seater/greater but there wasn't anyone. Some people were sitting by the windows and it wasn't too crowded so we grabbed a table. There were menus on the table so we glanced and then waited for service (there was no direction on if it was bar service, seat yourself or what not). I got the sunset pictures of Springfield that I really wanted from this view and looking around there seemed to be one person occasionally coming out to serve people on the far other end. After 15 minutes without as much as a glance or indication of any attempt to acknowledge us we decided just to head out rather than wait through another painful amount of time just to get a drink and pay here. I hope they put some instructions up for customers or learn to acknowledge when someone arrives, basic expectations for a business.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We waited a few minutes to be approached by the waitress. It wasn't busy at all. Just a few people at the piano. She came and cleaned off some glasses on our table and brought us a menu. She never came back, but we saw her standing at the bar texting on her phone. Ok, we will go to the bar. When we approached she told us "I'll be right with you". Her texting conversation was obviously way more important than serving customers. She finally got off of her phone and took our orders. A few minutes later she returns with a bottle a paper pad and a girl following her having a conversation. They were venting about " how to run a business" and how someone wasn't doing it right. Which is super ironic because I don't think it's proper to text on your phone, ignore your customers, and then vent with other employees in front of your customers is a good way to run a business either...but that's just me. At this point, we've had enough. Thank you for my first and last experience at the Pinnacle. I will not be back.
