So everyday going to and from work I see Scooter's and I randomly decide after work to grab a cup of coffee (around 3:35pm). I do what I always do when going to new coffee place and order a large black coffee, the most basic of basics. The worker at the window is noticeably acting a little strange and eventually informs me that they couldn't make my coffee because they haven't cleaned out a bunch coffee grounds or something along those lines, so instead they were making me an Americano. He's says this in a hush hush way like he's not supposed to tell me which is absurd because that is not what I ordered, so he was hesitant to tell me they were giving me the wrong drink on purpose. Keep in mind he told me this after I already paid but I thought fine it's not a big deal. When I finally get my drink, drive home, and sit down to drink my long awaited coffee it is the most sour coffee I have ever had. There was no other taste besides the acidity and the only reason why you might mistake it for coffee was the smell. This a minor nick pick but it was also warm not hot, but might as well paint a full picture of how it failed at every level. I'm an understanding person and this could have been a fluke, but this was just such a bad first impression that I will not be giving Scooter's another chance.

My favorite coffee shop in town. We go at least once a week for blended drinks. They have sugar free options too. This location on Clearlake is very fast and the order is correct. Friendly people fast service.
