It was my first time eating Smoky Bones, and we placed a carry out order. I haven't had ribs this good since the ones I had in Memphis. Highly recommend! The cornbread was also excellent!

Still the best baby back ribs in Springfield. The addition of great bowls meals just increased the lead over the rest of the competition.

This restaurant would of received 5 stars, the atmosphere ruined that though. We were traveling through Springfield when we stopped for an early dinner here. We almost didn't stay to eat after we visited the bathrooms. They were in terrible shape. Filthy floor and overall very dirty. The booth we were seated at had holes in both seats and the table was torn up. We were tired and on a time crunch though so we decided to try it. The restaurant was busy for 4pm on a Sunday, that also gave us hope. Candace our server was amazing. Prompt and very friendly. The food was some of the best we've ever had. We had the brisket, smoked wings, smoked sausage and a bacon cheeseburger. I'm never too hopeful for steamed broccoli but it was delicious . I hope the management and owners can get this restaurant cleaned up. The servers and cooks are definitely the STAR of this establishment! Delicious.

Non-locals and first time- amazing experience- mostly thanks to the veteran/retiree/there for fun server Tim, who was simply awesome.
Nachos were spot on (small serving was a LOT), pretzel and beer sauce- delightful- husbands wings were devoured in minutes. Definitely would visit again if in the area.

Lester took great care of us, the food came out promptly and was piping hot and tasty. Lester and the manager went the extra mile to help when a Bones Club points redemption didn’t work as expected. We will definitely be back.

LESTER took care of us and we made a friend in the process. The food was amazing but the service was above that ! I’d eat here every night if we didn’t live 3 hours away !
