Not only is LKP one of Springfield's finest dining experiences, Aurora and Jordan have created a welcoming space for all communities to gather, celebrate, and build community. In addition to offering a one of a kind dining experience, they are generous partners to our community.
Best dinner of my life! Great atmosphere, wonderful service and truly phenomenal food! The staff was so kind, accommodating and helpful. Plus the portions were generous and filling. I seriously can't recommend this place enough!
Luminary is my favorite restaurant in Springfield! It has a changing menu that never disappoints. I love the variety each time I visit, and that they are so accommodating to me as a celiac with a gluten free diet. The best food around with amazing service!
My partner and I ate at Luminary Kitchen & Provisions for the first time last night. We ordered the lemongrass pork belly, empanadas, the prime ribeye, and a variety of cocktails. The food was spectacular! I could taste the freshness of the ingredients, as well as the creativity and care that went into preparing our meal. The presentation and service were also both 10 out of 10. I'd like to give a special shout out to our server, Amy. She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. Amy's love for her work shows. Thank you for making our experience extra special, Amy! We can't wait to dine at Luminary again in the near future.
We selected Luminary to host an Art event featuring our company Valkyrie Artworks. Everything from the menu through the drinks, atmospheric and staff were of the highest order noteworthy. as a result of our outstanding experience, I will further be announcing my personal birthday celebration to be held there. 5 stars! thank you so much and especially to the lovely staff.
Fantastic experience and great food! Everything from the service, drinks, apps, and entrees were outstanding.
Had reservations at this place with a buddy for 7PM for roman night, so just me and him. Two people. This was my first time coming to this place. And I gotta say, not coming back again. Now the question is, why? Glad you asked, because I’m going to lay out my experience. To start, it was $85 per person. So with me and my buddy, it was a $170 planed dinner (Before tax and drinks (We paid separate though)), with 7 different menu items. If you average that out, that should be roughly $12 per menu item, per person, for a total of 14 items (7 items for each person, assuming). Boy was I confused, and disappointed by how that worked out in the end. First item was a Cabbage & Cashew salad. We only got one little bowl of it to split between me and my buddy. About two spoon fulls for each of us to eat. Was nice and lite, but figured that was just to warm us up for the rest of the food. Figure that’s why we only got one bowl, and not one for each of us. Second item was a Tempura Shrimp. We got two shrimp. . . All together. . . One for me, and one for my buddy. . . Super confused about that one. Was really good, wished I had more of it. But like. . . only two shrimp to split? Third item was a Duck Gyoza. We got 4 of those, so two gyoza for me, and two gyoza for my buddy. Was alright, nothing crazy. Again, though, that’s it? Fourth was then our curry fried rice. It came in a slightly bigger bowl. We split that up between us, and we each had about 4ish bites each before that was all eaten up. Good rice. More would have been nice. Filth item we got was Mazemen Noodles with Karaage chicken thighs. We finally got a small bowl to ourselves. Couple bits worth of meat on the top of the noodles. Pretty solid dish. But, only maybe 4-6 bites worth all together, pending how you eat. Sixth item we got, was the Ramen. Bit of meat, and poached egg, and other things. We each got our own bowl again. Same bowl the rice was in, with Little noodles, broth was a touch too strong, and while good overall, just again, small portions. Not many bites, and was eaten up pretty quickly by both of us. And finally, the seventh item. Black sesame chocolate cake, with a pistachio ice cream. The cake tasted like those whipped cream cakes at a grocery store, and the cake was bland. It was just, not good at all. The ice cream, was cold. . . maybe a hint of sweet, but very underwhelming. Had the right color though. Didn’t even finish eating at this point. Ended up with half a cake left. So with that, if we break down the average cost of the items above between me and my bud, we have these fun stats; - 4ish spoon fulls of cabbage worth $24 - 2 Shrimp worth $24 ($12 for 1 shrimp) - 4 gyoza worth $24 ($6 per Gyoza) - 8ish bites worth of curry rice for $24 - 4-6 bites worth of Mazemen Noodles with Karaage chicken thigh for $12 per bowl ($24 total sense we got one for each of us) - Small bowl of Ramen for $12 each ($24 total sense we got one for each of us) - Couple bites worth of cake, and couple bites worth of ice cream for $12 per plate ($24 total sense we got a plate for each of us) Aside from the portions, the spacing between the items was kinda absurd. We were there for almost two and a half hours. Imagine having a cabbage salad, two spoons fulls worth to eat, wait 15-20 minutes for the shrimp (The one shrimp each), eat that, and wait another 15-20+ minutes for the next small item. I understand pacing for planned dinner meals like this, but like, it was too slow. My total was $95 and change with tax and a soda can. I gave my server $100, and left the rest for him. A Bad tip sadly. Not his fault though, but after that experience, I didn’t want to pay more then what I already did. And what really sucks, is after spending that much money, and time, I was still hungry. I have never, EVER! Left a restaurant hungry before. Me and my pal went to Burger King after we left, because we were still hungry. $100 “worth” of food, and we were still hungry. I felt scammed, honestly. It’s a shame. I liked the food for the most part, but between the small portions, s
