Corporate needs to go back to the original business plan with servers. This was a family friendly place for everyone including seniors on a fixed budget, Bring back the original menu and curb service. This is what tWE the customers deserve!

went through the drive threw, ordered some burgers and told them what i wanted on the burgers. after i arrive home i discover that instead of getting what i ordered they just through everything on the burger with no regards towards alergies or respect for their customers. will never go to this location again, they need more training and better management.

Went way downhill after covid. Meal wasn't thar good and the service was less than acceptable with people on the back line yelling at each other. Didn't enjoy it

Didn't get my food paid cash and because they where out of egg and refunded my egg they said they could not give me all of it back even though I said give me a full refund before I got anything once they said here's your dollar for not having egg I so someone better get me a number to talk to someone since the person would not give me here name or my receipt and all everyone could keep saying is bye bye waving when all I was saying is why can I not get cash back when I paid cash I have pics of the cars and plates of who was working at the time though or atleast the ones that had a car there but to pay all that my and not get any food I want an apology from everyone there that day and my money back or I will take this further

I’ve only eaten INSIDE here three times since the big change but each time, the food is amazing, the service is quick and polite, the lobby and tables are always clean and noise-free. And there’s a fun claw machine.Kid-friendliness: Claw machine and high chairs for children
As somebody who has frequently eaten at Steak and Shake for most of their life its fair to say I've seen the wide variety of the quality of food change depending on location and time of day/night. This afternoon at the N Dirksen location I was shocked not only by the speed two meals were served, but how they were also managing a half full drive thru line. 10 minutes for two delicious meals!Store was nice and clean, playing recent hits over the stereo. Overall the best store I've been in a long time, shame they aren't busy like they used to
