How is it possible that I haven't reviewed this place yet?!? I've been a couple of times. The place has a chef driving the food in new and different directions for a taco shop...in Springfield. When I went to their website to find the item descriptions I looked all over but didn't come up with them. Consequently, less detail about what I had, all of it spectacular: I had a salmon taco first. Loved that it wasn't overcooked and the piece of fish was large enough to eat a couple of bites with a fork so the taco wouldn't completely fall apart. It was a bit juicy but very delicious. Next up was the grilled cheese. I told the young woman who took our order at the register that I knew two of three and asked for a suggestion. It was a liberal interpretation of a grilled cheese but quite good. Think deep fried cheese stick taco and you're moving in the right direction. That sounds like a slam but it's not - this one works well. Finished with the Korean beef taco. I like the flavor Asian pear imparts and there must have been some in the marinade. Also, this one is a juicy taco also so I forked a couple of bites here as well. Big flavors and my favorite taco of the night! Since the demise of the Sangamo Club, this may just be my favorite place to visit when in town.

Good tacos and a good selection of craft beers. On my last visit I had the short rib Quesabirria tacos and they were excellent. Have previously had the Korean BBQ tacos, and would have them again. Service is always quick and friendly, the restaurant is chill as well. It's a good spot for a quick and solid taco dinner.

The food here is so bad. The service was also really bad. I do NOT recommend this place. However I do recommend El Burro Loco!! El Burro is great for Taco Tuesday’s! Burro has excellent food and excellent customer service. The Grove is also a great place to look for food when you’re hungry and on a budget.

Horrible cheese sauce, Tates like a bechamel that split cause it was frozen and warmed in the microwave. Not very nice for the price. Tacos were okay, too much meat for the size. Tortillas were the best in part, but for the price would expect better flavors from the dish.
