Well worth a good evening

We went there on a Saturday evening and the place was dead. The service imitated life. The waiter was slow in checking on us, and brought only one napkin with two forks when our entrees were brought out.

I have eaten here twice within the past four months and I love the street tacos. They are made exactly how I like them, double layered, fresh onions, cilantro and salsa over whatever meat I am feeling that day. The only issue I have but can easily get past it because the food is so good stems from their hours of operation. They do not open until later in the day and both times I had to wait a few hours until I could swing by to grab something to eat.

Great food, great service, great people! Really enjoyed my taco and burrito. Salsa wasn't anything to write home about but it wasn't bad either. Will definitely be coming back.

My first time there. Very nice service. I got my order to go, a burrito. I order with sour cream and guacamole. Went to eat and there was no sour cream or guacamole on it. I order this to help cut the heat from the sauce. I can't tolerate very much heat. Of course now I can't do Josh it because my mouth idea on fire. I even told the waiter that I couldn't tolerate the heat. Probably won't go back.

This restaurant recently reopened with a revised menu and approach - takeout is still available but they have shifted to table service over walk up counter service. Menu has been 'updated.' I was assured that all the food was the same, but sadly that is not the case. I was particularly fond of their green salsa, but it appears they have changed both red and green salsas, neither to my liking. My burrito was ok, but the filling was different and was just not what I was looking forward to. Other people may like the changes, business was otherwise clean and staff was nice.

We've given this place a few tries & won't go back. It was 5:15 on a Friday evening & we walked into an empty restaurant, but the service was still slow & the food came out lukewarm at best. Salsa bland, chips tasted stale, soft corn tortillas were like leather. My pastor & fish tacos were flavorless other than a really unpleasantly spicy red sauce. My husband's combo was flavorless & the sides of cheese & guac were tiny. I'm not sure what is authentic about this food like other reviews have said...???

I thought the taste was.....unique.....at first. The chorizo had the overwhelming taste of clove and the pastor was crunchy. The elotes were not charred and were most likely canned corn that was masked with a VERY strong hit of habanero pepper. My fiance's fish taco had two minuscule pieces of fish and her other taco....who knows! Definitely not our waitress. She said it was a type of fried steak, which it didnt taste like at all. The surprise was 5 minutes later as we were driving home talking about how terrible we felt. Had to pull over to the side of the road so she could vomit and I could regret our decision. Turns out the misSTEAK wasn't just the lacktherof in her taco, but our choice of place to eat. Never again. Please save yourself.
