My daughter and I just dined here last night on her request and I think it will be the last time. Our waitress was obviously overworked and overwhelmed and neither one of our meals came out correct. She made a couple attempts to correct my daughter's but it never happened and I was missing a sidekick order completely but decided to not complicate things until I was charged for it having never received it. My daughter had a free kids meal token for good grades at school and I had a $30 gift card and with a 20% tip I still paid out of pocket $17 and some change. $47ish dollars for chicken strips is a little crazy. The waitress did go and try to rectify the sidekick charge but upon return said an order for it was put in but by this time our food was boxed and we were just ready to leave. Management should have helped her out and just taken off the charge at the very least but instead we left feeling ripped off.

I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that this is now the best steakhouse in Springfield. Service is always good. Steaks are always cooked properly. Free Peanuts! Some of the booths are on the small side.

Oh my god, I always go to Texas Roadhouse in E Peoria Illinois to eat. Love their food. I drive an hour away from my own Texas Roadhouse to theirs because I love their steaks that much! Well, I went there this past Monday the 10th and got the bone in ribeye, i always pick out my own steak so I get to see it myself. Well, I got soooo sick once I got home. I didn’t eat the rest at first thinking it was something else, because I did eat my salad and most of the potato, but barely any of the steak. So a couple days later I finished it and got sick and realized, it was the steak! I will NEVER eat there again, ever! Never had that happen. That’s very scary I can tell you that much! I kept wanting to throw up and having extreme diarrhea, I had to take alka seltzer and everything.

The gift card can only be used inside the restaurant... We couldn't figure out that waitlist thing .... And when we got there the wait was so long... And since we couldn't use the gift card to take out food we just left. It was also very loud.... Why does music have to be that loud ? These are all corporate problems.... I don't know if this location is any good.

Food sucked and was cold cooks shouldn’t be proud of what they cooked at all.
Busy Saturday night is not an acceptable excuse for poor quality
rattlesnake bites where oily, dripping. salads, white Lettice pieces had streaks of brown, green leaf's had black spots, salad was old. one steak was marbly the other was fine. The server Cheryl was great. the manager took the appetizer off the bill.
still this location does not live up to standards I expect at Texas Roadhouse.
Men's bathroom was a disgusting.
Definitely there is a leadership issue. Epic fail. If it wasn't for our server this place would rate a 1 star

My server was Ashley, and she's so intuitive she seemed to notice that I was not feeling myself, and she went far above and exceeded my expectations. I did not get the name of the young man in the kitchen who chose my steak for me, but I told him what I was looking for, and he picked the perfect steak for me. The food was wonderful, cooked the way I expected it, and tasted great. The atmosphere was the Five Star Texas Roadhouse atmosphere I expected.
