No food service at The Alamo since the pandemic. The bar hosts the Illinois Central Blues Club's 'Blue Monday Showcase' each and every Monday of the year. Local, regional, national and international Blues bands play from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm with $5 cover charge.
no food service to speak of, hence 3 stars...i feel like soda should be free, ESPECIALLY in a bar that charged a cover - most likely that person is the DD for ppl spending $$ on drinks...anyhoo, the bar is nice size, parking no issue, beer garden is nice size, and live band was AWESOME!!
Music on Stormy Mondays is always great. Jon is a great bartender and always knows how to talk to someone and just be fair to people. Which surprisingly seems to be a rarity within the town...
