Very unprofessional business practices. Canceled music segments multiple times and never thought to notify the artists they were canceling on. (Multiple artists have still yet to get a response from them at all). Kirk, the owner, has stated that payment would be arranged for our last scheduled gig. It has been 3 weeks with hardly any reply and zero payment for the hired work. I would not trust this business nor would I support it! Kirk and his staff believe the best way to handle an unfortunate situation, is to ignore it hoping it go away. I see no backbone within the management of this company. There is no strong leadership and accountability is not in their vocabulary. Musicians stay away! Patrons don't be surprised if this team isn't cutting corners at your expense. There are better places to dine and enjoy yourself in the city. Unfortunately this isn't one of them.

Good idea, poor execution. Food was relatively expensive and very bland. Carnitas were unseasoned. No BBQ sauce available for the brisket that showed no evidence of being smoked. Music, environment and overall vibe were great, but the food was not acceptable.

No barbecue sauce :(

I had the street tacos and they were pretty mediocre, way too much cabbage on them and the tortilla crumbled apart. Also they were out of hot sauce, which is pretty much a must have for street tacos. It was lunchtime and very nice weather and my buddy and i were the only ones there. I will go back to try some other food items, but first impression was not good.

I had the opportunity to try several of the options this past week. The weather was perfect so it was the perfect place to eat outside. The pork ribs and Turkey were delicious and I loved the bbq sauce. The Mac-n-cheese was almost fluffy and the potato’s were great. I tried the Tonkatsu ramen and two different dumplings. The carnitas taco and the birria was also delicious. Please make this a regular spot.

Food was sensational. Looked and tasted good (I am disappointed in myself for not taking a picture, but I was hungry.) My husband and I both ordered the pork ramen (tonkotsu?). Flavors were perfect.

The scenery was so different from anywhere else in Springfield. Lots of outdoor seating. It was colder out, so we took our food to their indoor dining area.

Great experience. Plan to go again soon!

This is my honest review and I hope whoever owns the railyard will take this review into consideration. We visited on the second week of reopening in spring 2024.
1. Tried tonkotsu and spicy miso tonkotsu. Pork was good and broth is not bad but a little bland, needs just a little more salt. The one thing that was done wrong is the broth wasn't hot when it came out. The broth was somewhat warm that the bok choy and the green onions(not thinly cut but thicker cut) weren't cooked so it puts an off taste to the whole bowl. I'm not comparing to ramen I've had in bigger cities because I know it's springfield illinois and tare ramen is the best we can get here. But not serving a hot bowl of ramen is definitely a sin in my book. It's critically important for the broth to be hot!
2. Bbq brisket was good. Juicy and soft. Got the plate with 2 meats and 2 sides. Expensive for the portion but it's no big deal.
3. Overall, staffs need to train more on making ramen. Besides that, we liked the staffs at the ramen stand, very friendly and provided great service when compared to the bbq stand.

Amazing setting and concept for this town! The food (we chose the barbecue) and margaritas were outstanding! Definitely plan on going back weekly. This something this area has desperately needed.

Awesome vibe with a well rounded menu; there are a lot of cool coffee shops that have bad coffee out there as well, but the coffee was consistent and delicious with the drinks I ordered. Met the owner who shared some of their plans for the location and it’s definitely a destination worth traveling to! Will definitely return.

I've had the coffee, a blueberry scone (very good!), Reeses peanut butter cookie (oh lawd), and 2 margaritas (no complaints!). So far, so good. Going for the Texas BBQ this weekend... maybe a Dino rib!

What a fun place! We only had dessert even though it was hard not to try the smoked meats we were smelling. The barista was fun to talk to and the atmosphere was great! We will be back!!
