My mom and I have been wanting to go here for a while, and finally came over for breakfast when we heard it was going to shut down. The first thing we noticed was how nice it is inside; The decor is full of color and personality, which is a refreshing change from the minimalism that a lot of businesses seem to strive for. The food and drinks were great. I don't remember what my mom got, but I had thai milk tea, an everything cream cheese bagel, and a strawberry smoothie bowl with granola. The Wakery is such a charming little place, and it's a shame that it's not going to be here much longer. We're going to try to come back at some point before it's gone for good.

This seems to be carefully and thoughtfully designed. You may need to be a fan of seafoam green to get it. The mix of hard and soft surfaces, lighting must be intentional. It's beautiful. It reminds me of the good times. At least, today, in the last 2 hours, I've felt contentment on the cusp of joy.

I get what this place is trying to do and it is nice. They've made a welcoming space. However, that space is very small. There was one group of about 7 people when I arrived and the place already felt very full and loud. For me, that really reduces the value of being able to sit for a while with friends. I ordered the coffee and I wasn't impressed. Their menu has all NA options. I have had Athletic Beer and Fre Wine before. They aren't any better when you are paying $7 or more per glass. Maybe if you were just stopping by as part of a larger date. The place is on the square downtown, so it is difficult to park. I wouldn't seek the place out on its own. I'm kind of sorry to say that because it is a local small business that seems to care about the community, but, being be honest, I didn't like it.

Very cozy place with ton of selections to choose from. I live in Chicago and was visiting Springfield, and found this gem on Google. I was impressed on how many non-alcoholic drinks they have - just like the real thing 😝 I would normally buy a coffee/latte anywhere else, but I tried their avocado toast and peach tea with foam! Yum! Everything tasted delicious! I am very picky, especially when it comes to food and drinks. So I have to say, everything exceeded my expectations! Also, how can you beat $11 bucks or an exotic tea and avocado toast! 😁 The two ladies in the front were very sweet, and gave me some recommendations. I ate my toast so fast that I forgot to take a picture! Overall great vibe, energy, and service. I can’t wait to be back, and try everything on the menu! Thank you 😊
