Food was excellent and they nailed the medium well, which I know isn’t the most fun to prepare but they still did great. Very long wait time for our entrees. They were busy and other waitresses stepped in to keep our service moving. Our waiter Nick and his team did an excellent job. Felt comfortable and not rushed. Will return.

We recently celebrated a very special “Fancy Dinner” for my 8-year-old niece Adalie at VELE, and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make it unforgettable—not just for Adalie, but for all of us.
My grandma and aunt joined us for the evening, making it even more special—and it was Grandma’s first time at VELE! The team made her feel just as welcome and celebrated as Adalie, and it meant the world to share this experience together.
A stunning floral bouquet and heartfelt card from Joe & Wade were waiting at our table 💐💌, setting the tone for a magical evening. Callie delivered top-tier service—warm, attentive, and full of genuine care.
Chef Kelsi and the kitchen team prepared an incredible 3-course meal:
🥂 Olive oil tasting
🦀 Scallops, shrimp & crab cakes as appetizers
🍽️ Halibut, Tuscan shrimp, and salmon for entrées
🍰 Blooming tiramisu for dessert
To top it off, Wade, Clementine, and Alexa crafted custom cocktails and mocktails that added a fun and festive touch for both of us. Every detail was intentional, and the hospitality was truly five-star.

My partner and I were really looking forward to trying VELE for the first time, especially because we were celebrating a special day. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We checked online before going, and the restaurant showed that it closed at 10:00 PM. We arrived at 9:00 PM, so we believed we had plenty of time for a normal dinner service. When we walked in, there was no host at the stand for about two minutes. Once someone finally came, we asked for a table for two. She left, and when she returned, she informed us that there were no tables available. The only seating available was at the bar, as the servers had already “closed out” for the night. This was confusing and frustrating - if the restaurant is listed as open until 10:00 PM, guests arriving at 9:00 PM should still be seated normally, especially in a fine-dining establishment. It felt like the staff simply didn't want to take new tables anymore, even though the restaurant was technically open. For a place with such great reviews and a beautiful ambience, we expected a much better welcome, especially on a day that was meaningful to us. Sadly, our first impression was not positive.

Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations. I had a tequila cocktail that was Amazing. The oysters were succulent, shrimp/ crab cake was amazing and the salmon was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place.

The eggplant bruschetta(appetizer dish) was very tasty, and along with pesto flavored pasta dish. This restaurant is a formal place for couples to go out, and eat out at nice refined restaurant. The quantity size of the food justified with price of the item. Unfortunately, the price of food is on the higher side, however the atmosphere and the experience eating at the fine dine justified the cost of the food.

Stopped by for dinner while in town for work. I asked the front desk hostess if reservation was required and was told no, but she didn't have a table available for one. I understood and temporarily sat at the table across from the bar. I waited 15 minutes until water was offered. Finally a server came by and took my drink order. Another 15 minutes later my drink wasn't available but instead asked if I wanted an appetizer. I asked to be moved to the bar seats after it became available and that when drink was finally served. I ordered my food, had an entree and a side, but before I even finished my entree (while still actually eating)and still had my side, the server asked if I needed a box for my side. Having worked in service, this essentially trying to kick me out. When I brought my concerns to the manager, Joe, he simply stated the restaurant was understaffed, appreciated my feedback, and no apologies.
