We stopped in after some friends suggested this place. It was well worth the visit. Horshoe was delicious and the building was very interesting. We sat next to a coyote that seemed at any moment as if it were going to eat off our plates. Definitely will go back when in town again.

A lot of dead animal heads on the wall in the main bar room, but the side dining room is mostly okay if you're adverse to that. The burgers are incredible, but the pinecones aren't as good as I remember from my childhood. Maybe they'd been frozen too long.
This is my third visit to Westwoods Lodge Pub and Grill. The food is always great. The service is unfortunately lacking. Never argue with the customer. Smile when you meet your guests and make sure your guests feel welcomed. Simple stuff that works every time. I am thinking you have to be a regular and part of the crowd to be truly welcome. The four starts for the atmospher is only because of the loud discussions going on and I guess this is normal but does not add to the enjoyment of the visit.
