I ordered a beef and I really do enjoy my Italian beef spicy. So I asked the guy to add hot giardanera and then I told him afterwards can you add extra hot giardanera I get my beef and I get like less than a table spoon of hot giardanera 😑 like bro first time there probably the last time I'll go I think buona is better Portillos is probably better my bread was harder than a 🐓 and not the slightest bit of dip money horribly spent I should of gone next door to los burritos

Got 2 plain hotdogs and a beef on garlic with hot peppers, both things were completely wrong. The beef came out plain and the hotdogs were Chicago dogs. This is the second time they’ve screwed up the order. The worker at the window even confirmed my order before giving me the wrong stuff

My sandwich was fantastic!! I ordered the Cheezy Beef on Garlic. The bread was fresh and warm. The beef was tender and moist. It as topped off with cheese and hot peppers. Fries are fresh cut. Just needed a dash of salt. Ian took my order and brought my food to me. He was friendly and service was fast. They have plenty if seating inside and fountain drinks available. Great job Beef Shack!!! Keep it up!

Where Portillos fails, Beef Shack prevails. Italian beef is better than any other fast food chain. Hot giardiniera that's actually hot. Hardy Turano rolls that soak up the juice so well. Better french fries than Five Guys, and they don't skimp on the servings. Milkshakes are okay, a little too thick. Fountain drinks are served in reusable aluminum cups, and they only charge a buck for a refill if you bring the cup back.

I would give an all-star, but unfortunately, I cannot. This was my second time at this location. This last Friday, my friend and I ordered 3 Chicago dogs and a mini fry. We thought they put everything in the bag, and we were good to go, but when we looked in the bag, the fries were missing. They weren’t busy at all, surprisingly. This had to be 5, 6, or 7 pm. We were already back at my place when we noticed the missing fries. The receipt was already crumpled, so there was no going back. My other two experiences were amazing, but this one, even though it was just fries, embarrassed me because this was me introducing my friend to Beef Shack. SO embarrassed and disappointed in this location. This was his first experience at beef shack. Guess I’ll be going to the Elgin one for now on.
PS the customers were more enthusiastic than the employees at this location. Sad

Staff was more concerned with nba and mlb convos than getting food out to customers in a timely manner. Only time the service hasn't been perfect and the food was like warm. Hopefully a one time let down.
